Bert seems to bring stuff up almost like he is trying to cover something up when he's more likely innocent, but he makes himself look guilty. Tom: *says nothing* Bert: *unprompted explanations about how he would not cheat on his wife*

Hes actually touching on some interesting ideas. If you cant tell the difference, does it matter? Its big in sci-fi. The Matrix, Devs, Westworld, Total recall, all touch on it in some way or another.

It’s a real thing. People misremember things, but it’s still a memory so it’s real. any stimulus results in a particular pattern of neuronal activity-certain neurons become active in more or less a particular sequence. ... Memories are stored by changing the connections between neurons. So it’s very possible to edit memories in the future. People misremember things all the time, and to yourself it’s true cause your “remember” it. It’s a interesting topic you should browse KZbin docs on

I'm sick of the same podcast every time. Bert wheezes and calls everything the best thing ever and tom just steers the conversation because when he tries to talk Bert just interrupts him.
