Its just for showing how the markings look like on the pinions. Whatever you do, don’t time your 2zz according to 1zz markings! Use the 2zz markings! I recommend using a plastic blade to clean gasket contact surfaces as a metal blade can score or scratch the surface which results in a leaking gasket!

Hi, Thanks for your comment. For somebody who has never done it, I would require to be cautious not the scratch anything. But As you see, I haven't scratched mine so its entirely doable, even with the metal one. But in all honesty, I don't even bother with blades anymore and just you a rotational metal brush and brush off all the rests of goo...

Question.. do you recommend install a 1ZZ oil pan (with baffle) on a 2ZZ engine (oil pan without baffle)? or that will mess up with the oil pressure expected on this engine? I read about that a lot in forums and I want to know your opinion. Thanks for your time.

@@izonfly9758 Hi, hahahah. Yes its a sad one hahahah. Don't use it, especially with high grip tires. For the street its ok, but racetrack and sticky tires... nogo! (I'd never do it again)

Hi! Thanks for your Comment. I don't have the torque spec in front of me. You should look at a Toyota Workshop manual. I'd estimate it at 70Nm (at your own risk)
