HIIT here we go!!
Day 5 of 50 and it’s time to challenge our bodies in a different way! High intensity, bodyweight only and 30 minutes! We’ve got this!! High intensity interval training to get you very sweaty, your heart rate up and leave you feeling so alive and happy!
The timer will be on for 30 seconds of work with 15 seconds rest inbetween! Each exercise will be performed for 2 sets! If it is single side work such as a lunge, this may be performed for 2 sets all on same side, then next 2 sets all on opposite side! It will all appear clearly on the screen so don’t worry!
There is a staple exercise in today’s sweaty session! This pair will appear every 4 sets and 8 times in total!! So you can count as you go so you know once you hit 8th set, it’s cool down after!!!
You will simply need your mat, a towel and a bottle of water nearby!
I also use a fan but I’m still dripping after!

30 minutes of pure fun and fast pace! Fast pace that is YOUR fast pace! All of the exercises are straight forward but it’s the pace that is challenging and it should challenge you!!
You will finish that last 1/2 burpee giving it your all!!

Caroline ...Ok so I am absolutely not writing this to show off, but I am 74 and I am writing it to encourage those of you much younger than I - folks in their 50's and 60's and yes 70's - to push through these workouts. This morning I previewed this and thought "No way", but guess what? I completed it. Yes it took me an hour with longer rests and some modifications on the burpees. A 74 year old body can just do so much, but I feel incredible as I write this and encouraged and I would never have thought when I began Epic I and followed with the other Epics (although I have worked out for about 30 years) that I would have become so strong and had such beautiful definition in my rather old body. So, keep the faith and push through. Thank you Caroline. I look forward to your workouts every day.

Caroline woke up on this day and chose violence🤣 What. A. Ripper. I thoroughly enjoyed this and am super proud to report that I only paused the video once around 35% in. After that, it was like my body remembered how to differentiate between feeling like I'm dying and actual death - which was super helpful going forward. I will admit, I find two sets in a HIIT workout challenging because my boy is absolutely convinced that I won't survive a second round most of the time, even though it does consistently do so. So from a mental fortitude aspect, I feel like I've come quite far. Thanks for all your hard work, Caroline

I have a confession to make: during EPIC 1 and 2 i've havent done the sunday HIIT often. I did the ones the where low impact and with weights. I did not have confidence in me that i could do it. I was seeing you going so fast and i knew i just could not keep up. Today's intro was a blessing, hearing you say that it did not have to be perfect and that we have to build up to a certain pace. So today i did the wokout... changed a few things (jumping lunge to no jumping lunge) and i am really proud of myself. Done the extra abs and the 20 mins strech. Thank you Caroline.

Mee too I always skip the hiit session. From epic 1 and 2 as I do not feel confident but in 4 months I lose 9 kg and toned all my body.

This week was so tough yet so much fun! This is the perfect way to end week one ! I and everyone in this community must be able to realise how much planning, mental efforts as well as hard work is put into every single video.. I felt all the emotions during this workout happiness, anger, thoughts of giving up, despair, being proud and I did it! Caroline is goals 👏 👏 👏. I hope one day I will be at that level 🤞🏽

Caroline!!! You added the extra beeps back in! 🎉 THANK YOU for listening. Thank you for working so hard. YOU are the reason that this is *the best* platform for home workouts, *the best* community, *the best* place to grow among like minded people. I found myself repeating “be better than yesterday” in my head for the duration of this workout. Caroline is right - the only person who matters in your journey is YOU. You may not be as strong, as fast, as shredded as someone else…..but you can always become better than YOU were yesterday. Let’s go, Girvanators!!!

This was challenging on so many levels.. mostly because we were doing 30/15. Usually in the past with exercises like these, we would go 20/10. Congrats to all who keep pushing and empowerment to all especially to those who think this is "too difficult". Like Caroline said make HIIT or any other workout yours.. dont compare yourself to anyone else. Remember have fun! Not sure if this word was on m mind while I was sweeting tho.. 😁 Big hi to all and thank you Caroline for being such a LEADER!

Caroline’s Sunday hiit … the most feared (pre workout) and most loved (after workout) training of the week…it would not be Sunday without this messy sweat feast! … Caroline’s hiit are the best, hardest, most effective hiit workouts available on line and in real life!

Looks like a brilliant HIIT session to finish off a fantastic first week of epic 3! Plenty of our favourite burpees here...and I love the staple! Burpees are such a great exercise for building stamina and fitness! know many are a bit intimidated by HIIT...but my feeling is push through the first five minutes and then you’ll find you can keep going to the end! Have a great workout everyone! Matthew Hi everyone...just finished! It’s certainly a tough HIIT session...but I loved it! I enjoyed feeling how my body could cope with the demands of the workout...and I actually enjoyed doing all the burpees! For those looking at this and feeling a bit scared I would say just press start...get into it...and before you know it you’ll be smashing the moves and having fun too! You are right, Matthew ! Burpees and Makers are wholesome workout which are beneficial in taking our body to that next level. My favourite day of the week. Only Caroline makes HIIT workouts so fun that I don't think how out of breath I am, I really give my absolute best and feel so amazing not only after but also during these sweaty 30 minutes.😊 💛And last but not least - gaining strength. I have never do HIITS which build my muscles & stamina so intense. Happy HIIT day, Epic family😉🌞

Beautiful Sunday to y'all! Awesome week we're having with the New Program. Time to HIIT it! Let's have Sweaty FUN! 😆👊 Btw. Loving the thumbnails, the colors give a Happy Party Vibe. BOOM!!! 🤩 Started with 2 kinds of Burpees and I'm def. Awake! Twas Super Sweaty, Max HR was 175, and Super Fun sesh! Enjoyed the play on music as well! Felt like I was moving to the Beat. Energizing and Great workout! Also did the add-on 10min. Braced Core and Abs wo. (Hollow Holds are still killing me 😆) Thanks Caroline! ❤️

Can't wait to do this first thing in the morning! Few of my favorite changes in Epic III 1. The countdown at the very beginning is extremely motivating, gets your pulse racing in a good way! 2. Music is uber cool! 3. The countdown bar(?) at the bottom is user friendly! Thanks CG for these, little things but make our workout even more fun! And shows how much you care for us! You are a fiercely honest human CG! We love you ❤

*Woke up this morning telling myself “let’s go!” Was still quite intimidated, but I warmed up, got in, pushed through and finished with a lot of breaks in between. And a much slower pace. Felt so good and am so proud of myself! Time flew by with this one for sure! Have fun! A little scared but also excited to do this workout tmr morning! Thanks CG!

There are some days that are extremely difficult for me mentally when doing Caroline's workouts, that I actually feel emotional and start crying. I used to think that made me weak or I was less of a person if I wasn't at my absolute best during every single workout. If you also struggle with this, I want to remind you and myself, that it's okay to struggle and to pause. We're taking time out of our day to better ourselves and to improve our physical and mental health. We're not exercising to be perfect.

I needed to hear this- I did the best I could with all the burpees but seeing as how I just don’t move well in that way- I didn’t do a very good job at executing them. I hate burpees more than any other exercise. I almost didn’t try the whole series because when I previewed it I saw this and got scared lol. I am day 5 in and while this wasn’t perfect- I didn’t give up! That alone makes me feel good. Way to go us!

First time doing EPIC and honestly week 1 has been so much fun but definitely also a challenge! This one was for sure the hardest and many times I wanted to quit but I am so glad I didn't 😆 You've also helped me change my mindset on fitness so thank you for everything Caroline!!

Yes!!! Finally a 30 minute workout. Much better time and no equipment. I like using dumbells but not every single workout.

I can't believe - I actually did it! sure - with less tempo and reps, with some modifications and a tiny bit more rest time. Still it feels divine! I have this beautifully hot sensation through my whole body and skin is nicely red and sweated, which means that I got what I came here for

After doing Epic I, II, and Heat, I am making it a personal goal to actually do the HIIT Sundays. For me, they were too demanding, mentally and physically, while I was in law school. Now I've graduated and this makes my second week in a row doing HIIT Sundays! Last week I had to pause the video multiple times and when I finished I couldn't do anything but sit on the floor for half an hour waiting for my body to cool down. Today I only paused for a little extra rest twice and feel like I am ready to go about the rest of my day, no floor-sitting required. I am excited to mark my incremental improvement as the weeks go on. Thank you Caroline!!

I’ve been doing Caroline’s work out for a few months. Every time I do the HITT sessions, I can’t believe how much stronger I’ve gotten. When I first started I couldn’t do a half burpee. Now I can do it and keep up with Caroline (sort of). I can’t believe the difference in physical strength and fitness. Thanks Caroline

Thank you, Caroline, for delaying the beep indicating the end of the exercise. I find that I'm pushing myself longer and realizing the maximum for each move. I didn't realize till now how much I was unconsciously starting to lay off the gas in Epic II when the beeps started! Smart move! Also, thank you so much for making the workouts shorter and more efficient. As a busy professional, I was struggling to find enough time to get through the epic II workouts as I often like to add other elements into my daily exercise routine like long walks (this also ensures that I get outside!) I'm so excited for this new program. Thank you so much!

If we had to count what little blessings we have had since March last year, I think we would all concur in pointing Caroline's channel as a true beacon of light in the darkness that has surrounded us. Having discovered this KZbin corner at the beginning of June 2020, and having relentlessly followed each training since then (the only time I paused was when coming down with COVID, a hard time for many reasons - symptoms, not being able to hug my wife and daughter...- but made harder not being able to train for three long weeks) it still amazes me how Caroline finds ways to make me feel completely destroyed with videos like today's: I had to pause it several times to both catch my breath and regain what little energy and strength I could gather to keep on going. But, as always, IT WAS WORTH EVERY DROP of SWEAT and every UNCONTROLLED HEARTBEAT. Thanks Caroline for every effort you have put in making this such a great space and CHEERS to all the fine people like me who comes here to get fitter and to be part of the joy that your smile is. I’ve done Iron, Fuel, and Endgame so far and have always struggled with the HIIT workouts - I usually need to pause several times throughout to catch my breathe. Proud of myself for only pausing once during this one to tie my shoes!! I’ve been training more cardio and I think it’s really paid off. Can’t wait to keep going with Epic III!

When I first saw the workout I asked why she took out the alternative options. All the same I decided to do it thinking that I would modify what I needed. When I finished it I realized I could with almost all jumping exercises, so I understood the reason. In my case, you really pushed me up. Thank you Caroline. I love it. 🌈✨💕🧚‍♀️

Normally I sort of dread HITT days, just because I find it so hard and I tend to get frustrated with myself. But really enjoyed this one. And I think it was all due to Caroline’s intro. Thank you for your encouragement before we got started! It made me feel SOOO much better and confident that I could do it and it was ok if I didn’t go as fast. As long as I was giving it my all, that is all that matters. Thank you Caroline for making me feel confident and so much better about myself. I am really looking forward to completing Epic III and buying some “Finisher” shirts from your website to celebrate my accomplishment!!

It took me 43 mins to complete this workout ❤️ but am super proud of myself that even when I was really not feeling like working out today I pushed myself and aced this workout 🌻 Surprisingly I had more energy today and I wasn't struggling that much today in comparison to a previous epic HIIT workout that I did . I freaking took 1hr to complete that workout. That's some progress I think . It was still tough but time flew by and I was actually enjoying the burn ❤️. Can't thank Caroline enough for all these amazing videos that she puts out . Love yaa Caroline 🖤🌚

Well... I got through it! No modifications but definitely a much slower pace on some exercises than Caroline. I really appreciate the "You vs You" coaching... hopefully each time I do this awesome workout I'll get a little faster and a little stronger. Caroline is such an inspiration!

I am so motivated today!! I was motivated by Caroline's opening intro when she said everyone's high intensity is different and even for herself is different few years ago. Can't agree more!! I myself don't have a dramatic difference in the intensity of my workout (and my capability, my mentality) but I can definitely feel something is changed in me today versus a year ago or even two years ago. Because of noticing that I feel I am empowered and wanting to push myself more today and everyday from now on! So thank you thank you and thank you, Caroline!

Good morning Dear Nikolina, this HIIT session looks... WOW 🥵 but fun 😅 Yesterday I smashed the Friday complexes workout ! I loved it 💜💙 I worked with my 8kgs dumbells but for the shoulder press I had to take the 3 kgs dumbells 🙆‍♀️ HIIT is waiting 😅 Have a lovely Sunday 😘💐

I absolutely adore these HIIT workouts! I do them every Wednesday myself, when I need to be at surgery earlier and have less time and can't run. On the weekends I have been teaching my cardio-loathing, weight lifting hubby how amazing HIIT is! My only feedback so far on epic iii: I miss the three second countdowns, and I'm unsure I'm digging the slow tempo music vibe early on in this HIIT workout. But otherwise, WOW! I'm so pumped for Wednesday to do this! ❤️❤️❤️

Well this has proved how unfit I am but I'm looking forward to improving my fitness over the next 9 remaining weeks. I do a lot of kettlebell work but this is pushing me out my comfort zone which is exactly what I need! Thanks!

this was such a challenging one!!! i was so proud of myself the whole way through. i normally take a lot of breaks during HIITS (did it in both epic i and epic ii), but in this i challenged myself to really push through and it was so rewarding! so proud of all of you who are in this with me, knowing that i’m doing it with you all really helps me feel motivated. let’s crush it tomorrow buddies!!👊🏻⭐️

JUST COMPLETED THE HIIT!! Its amazing!! Thank you Caroline for taking time to explain that we should make it our own HIIT and not compare to others as ultimately we are constantly trying our best to improve and be a better self! Thank you for that! And I feel amazing after this workout! I always feel great doing HIIT on a Sunday, its like being all pumped and fresh for the next week to come! 😘😘😘

Caroline is beautiful as every time you want to emphasize the importance of HIIT, this is not to scare you but to push us to give our best according to our personal potential.... Out of ten people we will have ten different hiits, but that’s right... The important thing is that each of those people has given their maximum... I love your HIIT, they are fun and every time a great challenge!

This was pure torture! I was gonna give up after the first few minutes but I didn't, I knew I would feel better in the end. It was sweaty and intense. So glad its over, 😄!

This workout really was challenging yet amazing. Loved every single second of it, by pushing myself I can see that my body is capable of doing a lot of things I didn't know I could do. So grateful for all the workouts you let us do with you Caroline! Week one of EPIC 3 complete, LETS GO!
