I fell asleep to the first one right after the name game. I always listen to the pods a handful of times. Definitely had a rough go listening to it the next day. Did a LOT of 😬 repeatedly without realizing until my jaw muscle started straining from strength and time.

Jeezzusss! 1:14:39 The only thing making this episode palatable for me is this. How much of Fish's story was made up? How much was coroberated about his childhood? What evidence was there that he killed 15 or more children other than his say so? I'm not saying the man wasn't a monster who killed a little girl. However, I can just as easily see him spending his days fantasizing about doing these terrible things. I don't know maybe I am just grasping at straws to keep my spirits up. Great job boys, keep it up and see you in the next episode.

You skipped the murder and letter of Billy Gaffney which was almost equally heinous, and the horrible tragic moment when he is taking Grace Budd to the house by train and he actually forgets his bag with his torture/cleaving devices and Grace notices and actually goes back to fetch them for him, without knowing they will be used to kill her.

I love these true crime episodes. Fish's story just makes me laugh. The first true crime you did (mickey mouse voice italian gangster guy) was much more disturbing. Fish is so over the top. 😂 i wish we got the 3 episodes. Oh well.
