Best campsite yet! Your husband is a saint following your dream and supporting you (figuratively and literally) on your journey across the country and jumping in and out of the truck bed. 😂

True. I asked my husband around that age to drive around USA for 6 months while we thought about a new house. No. 3 months? No. 1 month? No. But I did manage to get a new house with room for 2 horses just on edge of where he required working. So... whew! 40 years later we are still living here.

@@MegF142857 I talked my husband into a 3 month RV trip and he hated every moment of it. And he let me know how much he hated it the whole time. It was hell. It sounds like you got the better deal! lol

No matter how long you decide to stay on the road, you are learning life skills that will serve you well for the rest of your lives. I doubt we will meet in this life (unless you need a farm to park at in the Eugene area of Oregon), but I definitely want to go for a ride with you on the new earth!

I love this, sharing the struggles and "real life" portions of your adventures is so great. If you guys ever trek all the way to Southern California, we've got a hot shower and hot meal with your names on it! And I bet my local barn would let the boys enjoy some time in the turnouts / empty arenas.

Another great video!!! My 2 biggest suggestions for you are 1) to get some sort of source of heat in your trailer. I am soooo surprised that your trailer does not have a propane furnace. The electric resistance heater in your A/C unit does not count. 2) Start using your shower. It is huge for a trailer. If you can live in the trailer the pipes should not freeze. I have been fine to 5 degrees. Also there should be no problem with the tanks freezing and if there is some concern dump some R/V antifreeze (Pink) into the tanks. You guys make such a fantastic team , thanks again for sharing!!
@CarmellaAbelАй бұрын
Thanks for the tips; I had never heard of RV antifreeze!

It looks like you’re feeding them beet pulp and alfalfa pellets?? Not sure if it’s an option for you but Tractor Supply also sells a pelleted feed by Unbeetable Feeds that has beet pulp, alfalfa, and flax seed oil. You might save money and space by buying that instead of two separate feeds or you could buy two bags at once- plus the benefits of the flax seed oil. It’s also what Shae from Free Spirit Equestrian uses as her main feed for her horses

My ex's apartment had a bad bug problem and they crawled into the smoke detector and would periodically set it off. I pulled that thing out (thats how we figured out it was bugs), put it in a ziplock and threw it my truck so we could go to sleep.

4:36 Wait, why did you throw away the boots? I'm the person who asked you what boots you were wearing & you did answer. So... what happened? I have some old rubber boots that used Gorilla glue & ShoeGoo to keep going twice now, so need some new ones. -- That's a good paddock at the end. No climb horse fence & they have protective tops on their T-posts. Kudos to them. Bet those horses loved kicking out some kinks!! -- And showers!
