No one here talking about how madam Xanadu was originally a close ally to Spectre back in his 1992 solo series? Ok... Originally a villain of Spectre’s, she quickly changed sides after tasting the power of the spirit of vengeance herself thus helping Spectre on multiple occasions such as when he battled Azmudus and Eclipso. She’s a deathless witch who commands legions of demons to do her bidding. I wish DC would give Spectre and likewise characters some more love.

Superman is most probably focusing on the events before Snyder run on JL. This is because Snyder said in an interview about death metal that lot of bendis secret identity/leviathan stuff is going to lead upto death metal. It might mean that superman revelation happened before JL #1 and everything that is to follow will be happening side by side of JL Perpetua Storyline until the buildup or implications of JL #40 come in Superman. Even in Superman Villains, Luthor was is in human form so i guess that explains everything. And, action comics romita jr. might have happened after Luthor's transformation. IMO, DC has only made their continuity confusing a little bit only because of delays mainly on doomsday clock other than that they still are connecting the dots.
