Too be honest....I think the phantom zone is the best solution. Not only that, they're at the Fortress of solitude so it shouldn't take that long. Also if superman did somehow escape from earth, he's infected. He's going to destroy everything else and he's on the loose. Though, if he was in the phantom zone I guess it's the most suitable containment.

Is it just me or has this whole thing kinda played out like an alternate Blackest Night? 1. The Anti-Life virus is a hive mind wanting to spread death, like the Black Lanterns being ordered by Necron 2. The Black Racer made the alteration to the Anti-Life Equation, and Necron is one step above him in the pecking order I think. 3. The Entity has been stated to be a counter to the Anti-Life Equation, and if Cyborg is 100% dead, the Entity is the only way to undo this now, and it may be nessecary to find a true cure due to Anti-Life Superman. 4. The Anti-Life Hive mind is like "All roads lead to Death" and The Black Racer was all like "Even a God will serve Death now" when Darkseid got infected. In retrospect, I wouldn't be surprised if this was all a plan of Necron, instead of using Black Lantern Rings, and alert the other Lantern Corps, make a virus to spread death that you can control like a Black Lantern. Instead of triggering all of the lantern corps. I don't think we've seen the last of DCeased, Anti-Life Superman is the biggest threat, and add the Anti-Life Hive mind's words to Cyborg, illude to that as well.

Well, it seems the Sinestro Corp War and Blackest Night didn't happen in this timeline, as Hal's Ring didn't allow Lethal Force, so that wasn't enabled. I think that this whole thing is a alternate Blackest Night, the Anti-Life Virus being a version of The Black Lantern Rings. As for why Necron wouldn't use Black Lantern Rings , it would alert all the other corps, versus the Anti-Life Virus, especially Anti-Life Superman, which would seem like a normal virus, especially as the only person who knew that it has a Hive Mind has a 70% chance of being dead (Cyborg has made himself being just a head before, who knows). So Necron can command Anti-Life Sups, to do whatever he wants

Flash got hurt, his last human reaction was to run away from his comrades. Run away as far away as he could and fast because he knew he'd transform and put everyone at the Fortress of Solitude in mortal danger so he took off blazing fast. Now think about it, he's already transformed after a good minute or maybe seconds, he's now still running but most likely out of control. He's not thinking anymore. He's just running. Then we got Supe's. One of the fewest heroes who CAN run or fly at near Flash's greatest speeds. But he's flying at such high speed on another end in order to collide with the Flash. The speeds they're both going out is beyond sound and light. Superman RIPPED through his old comrade. Something of Flash was bound to have pierced Superman because these two aren't just any regular beings. Superman is impermeable to most attacks but think about it, one, bones are sharp. Two, this an uncontrollable Flash running at a speed faster than light. It very possible.
