"We don't rise to the level of our goals, we fall to the level of our systems." SO TRUE!!

Wow. Thank you SO much. I just stumbled on this interview and there are not adequate words for how grateful I feel. First of all, you both present so wonderfully humble, like lifetime learners, and so generous with sharing what you’ve discovered to date, and the process of getting to there. Great stuff! I will continue to follow each of you -and tell friends and clients!🙏

“You should be far more concerned with your current trajectory than with your current results.” Good quote. I also like the mindfulness workbook called 30 Days to Reduce Stress by Harper Daniels.

This is the best podcast I’ve listened too ever and so incredibly valuable to start with this year! I have been wanting a better understanding of building good habits and this was the answer to my prayers. Thank you 🤍🙏🏽

Removing the friction to help keep a habit consistent is such a major key, especially for tasks that are needed but I hate doing. It has made such a huge difference on the days that I have to clean my bathroom, for me to just put out all the cleaning supplies on the bathmat the night before and it forces me to address it the next day. Also laying out gym clothes the night before has been a game-changer. It's crazy how just a little bit of friction can cause action! Also the "temptation pairing" is a great concept. I find NOTHING about doing laundry to be therapeutic and every 8 weeks I have to wash all of my sheets and towels at the laundromat. I download KZbin videos and movies on my tablet to watch and I treat myself to Chick-fil-A breakfast while I wait for the loads. Combine this with putting all the detergent and the clothes in my car that night before is a recipe for success!

Every action you take (even small), "casts a vote" for who you want to become - LOOOOVE this! Make it obvious, make it attractive, make it easy, and make it satisfying! Priming the environment, habit stacking, and temptation bundling are all strategies I plan to use! I really enjoyed this episode - thank you Erika and James Clear - great info!!!

Erika, this is great content but you have to put his name somewhere in the title or the thumbnail for when I try searching James Clear through KZbin or through Google, this content doesn't seem to show up when set to this week. IMHO, this should be on top (SEO-wise) for this entire week and also, I'm suspecting there might be something wrong with this account as it seems to show less than most here in KZbin, it's kinda weird. Anyway, thanks for these types of content, it definitely made my day! More contents like these please!

🌺🌻💥🌻🌺 Many things I eventually learned... but the hard way for n'er did I have any good examples. Being younger and extablishing such spoken of I wish all to care to learn... to establish for yourself first and foremost. Over a lifetime thousands came and went; all that was ever always there for me was me. So to do for you to realize and cherish.
