Even when I re-read it I thought I re-read it wrong. Took about 7-10 reads just to sink in. We were on the 118 (where Kobe flew over), heading toward the 405 at about 7 a.m. Couldn't see 15 yards in front of ye. Lucky very little traffic in front or in back of us. . . .

Mamba mentality. I had it and i didint know what it was. Its lonely at the top and so is the journey there when no one understands. No one can push u to be good at something. The drive has to come from within. Once i started watching youtube videos about kobe's work ethic and his opinions about why he works so hard, i didint feel alone anymore. I felt i could relate to him and his drive to be good at something even if it means sacrificing the things that other people value. Thats why they cant relate, cuz ur not like them. Now i realize that he was passing that measage to others to help them acheive their goals and thats what i want to do now. Thanks kobe. I never met u but u helped me feel not so alone and weird and in death ur helping me become a better human being.

Its amazing how great Kobe became at being a father, husband(after his mistakes) and mentor and how great Lebron has always been as a role model and father but the one who constantly gets put at the top was a terrible father, brother, and husband. Not trying to get into comparing given the circumstances but im just saying Kobe and Lebron are two AMAZING examples of how to juggle the sport and fame with family. Sad we lost on of them so soon just as his influence believe it or not was about to somehow get even broader.
