If you are ever wrongfully accused of pulling a gun on someone, 99.9% of the time they will say you had a black gun. So, carrying one in a really off-beat color will help to exonerate you.

I hear this argument a lot and I'm not sure it makes any sense. Lawyers and Judges are aware of this fact as well. I'd argue that if they aren't doing their due diligence against this then you are doomed anyway and at that point you could have had a hot pink neon gun as it won't matter much.

@johnshepherd9676 my point is that the burden of false identification should be on the system and not the misidentified individual. For example, the most popular color of car is White. Are we going to advise drivers not to buy White cars because you could be misidentified. That sounds silly. If you have a defense attorney that can't prevail a false identification then you are fucked and my point is that incompetence is the evil there not choice of aesthetic.

Jury? Hopefully this type of shit doesn’t even make it that far. If the accuser and the accused are on scene and never left, this should be resolved then and there. Plus there’s cameras all over the place these days so it really shouldn’t make it to a jury if it’s in fact a false accusation.

There is one advantage to that firearm. With the uptick of false pulled gun reports, especially in larger, left leaning cities, when the false reporter is asked what did the gun look like, there's a near 100% chance they are not going to say sparkling, robin egg blue.

I grew up in West Texas in the 50’s and 60’s. Dad was county sheriff and we had Texas Rangers visit quite often. The one thing I noticed, they all carried the 1911 cocked and locked. Most had hand carved ivory grips,some we nickel along with fine leather holsters and silver and gold badges.

True story when the LCP max came out I couldn’t find it anywhere, so I walked into a gun shop and they had it in Red. Told the salesman I didn’t want it because of the color, he replied “ when your life depends on it, the color won’t matter”, anyway waited and found one in Black. His statement was true though.

I think those glitter Glocks look awesome. I honestly wouldn't care to own one but I'm very stubborn when it comes to having any handguns with any colors outside of black, gray, white, and stainless. But I think it's a really cool concept and pretty cool they added it as an option.

Ha. In the late seventies people were aghast at the matt, black slide and hard white chrome frame. It changed overnight when the pros explained that it actually made sense. Like racing cars with black hoods... I stayed with a nice Colt blue m1911. Well, all my money went on reloading .45 ACP ....now that was money well spent in the days of Practical Pistol. As a Glock fanboy, I am not laughing. If this gets more women into firearms, I'd consider that a win... the G43X is a great pistol. If I walked into my local FFL, I didn't already have most Glocks, and this was the only one available at the store, I wouldn't turn my nose at it... if anything, it would only add to the humiliation of the home intruder that this is what chased him out, if you get my drift. Capitalism is great and if Glock has determined that this will net them more sales, I say bring on the glitter... not everything has to be tailored and made for tacti-bros

Glock USA did not team up with Glitter Guns! When a whole seller purchase Glock pistols from Glock USA, the whole seller can send it off to whatever company to do that kind of finishing, but Glock USA has no affiliation with Glitter Guns.

The Armed Attorneys' channel had a video on a pink for your vehicle that also applies to the Glitter Glock.. They had to defend a guy was falsely accused of threatening someone by a road rager. Their client was stopped and he did have a gun the car so he was arrested. The accuser is going be asked at some point what the gun looked like and he isn't going to say pink or glitter.

I'm actually fixing to buy my wife that exact glock, she loves it and thinks it's very cute. Could we get a full review? Does it fit in Kidex holsters for the glock 43x or does the coating prevent that, also does the coating stand up to abuse, and does the coating make it hard to change out sights? I'm standardizing the carry weapons for my household, me and my wife will both carry the G43x, with the same night sights on all 3 or 4 of them.

Most now are S&W (old to the latest Bodyguard), along with various Rugers and even Taurus', Hellcat(s) compact and full, 2 Barettas, 1xPPQ and a Rock Island 1911 I bought at a gun show in Texas... hell of pistol! I mean I held on to my G30SF till the bitter end. Just got tired of the lack of ingenuity by Glock. The whole if it ain't broke, don't fix it doesn't mean 'never strive for new heights'. Now that Mr. Glock has gone to the 'upper room' I'll sit back and watch what happens. I'm not a glock hater, but I knew my comment would make glock haters chuckle.

I get it g48 was my first gun & I've tried other brands since I like them more especially cz/iwi. but but Im keeping my g17 gotta keep at least one, it takes the 30rd extension which I love none of those have a reliable 30rd that isn't aftermarket & I'm getting it cut for a dot as well. Sold the g48 cause it's a dumb gun & thinking about selling the 43x for the shield plus

Fully cerakoted Glock slides will jam in subfreezing temperatures. And cerakoted frames are very slippery at that temp.

I just saw another YT channel that said this kind of gun finish (or pink glitter, etc) could be great for carrying. If you get accused of brandishing a firearm, if they say it's black, or silver, or grey, then it's obvious it's not what happened. That kinda color scheme is unmistakable. I guess it's a double edge sword if you do use it for nefarious purposes.

the first gun i went to purchase was a black g23g4 and i had it on layaway , as i went to take it home it had developed a rust spot on the slide so i asked for another one and they happened to get the flat dark earth version in at the time, so thats what i got and it was pretty sweet

There are so many great guns out there today and most of them are reliable (make sure your gun is and break it in before carrying as your everyday gun). Find the best one for you. Your comfortable carrying and shooting, your life is to important and things happen so fast you only have time for your training to kick in and it is over.

That's the gun you want to keep in your car. That way, if another driver decides to lie on you and say you flashed a gun at them, you can say, "Why yes, officer, I do have gun in my car. What color did they say it was?" No way is the answer going to be "glittery blue." Hot pink or chartreuse would be good, too. Also, a thief might find it too revolting to steal.
