@lukebarroso449 Oh don't get me started on seasonal content. TONS of time and hundreds of thousands of dollars thrown away by Bungie into the DCV. Want to Wonder why new players aren't interested in your game? Because there's no context and a little amount of content despite the player spending hundreds of dollars on expansions.

@@darth_chittious1762 They basically STOLE from their ongoing playerbase. The playerbase who majorly contributed to funding the ongoing development even without the microtransactions. Those expansions were bought and paid for, then taken away, never to see a customer accessible server again.

I understand the game getting excessively large, but the content vault wasn't the answer. As ironic of an answer as it is, I think Destiny 3 would've been the answer. And the best breakpoint in my opinion would've been around Forsaken.

Nah he just threw all his materials and gear in the vault and threw on sum random gear, thats what I always do when I feel like restarting a character

Not all autos were useless... but there were a struggle, especially the ones with the highest fire rates and magazines. Practically propelling pez that pack more recoil than impact. The limitations preventing actual viable build variety with meaningfully different weapons was my defining complaint of D1 gunplay. Especially as someone who is NOT a fan of burst fire.
