It’s ironic that Hollywood is shut down right when movies theaters seems to be repeaking in popularity. I haven’t seen people going to the movies this frequently since pre-Covid. And the amount of options is also refreshing. Just this month I saw Barbie, Oppy, Insiddy 5, Talk to Me and TMNT. Now if they can just lower those insane concession prices, but I’m a dreamer

Cobweb was such a fun time and before I even went to this review I already got a lot of Barbarian vibes from it without feeling like a completely cheap knockoff of it. Also loved how there was minimal cheap jumpscares in it, there were lots of subsersive moments that would have you think one would spring up though thanks to its effective use of silence and darkness. Lastly, it was a damn gorgeous looking movie

It's really awesome to see the Barbenheimer trend be so successful both financially and from a quality standpoint in general. I haven't gotten around to seeing either, but I've heard mostly positive things which is just great for cinema in general. I volunteer to start the "Saw Patrol" trend at the end of September. Hope you're enjoying your time here in NY.

I am 34. And Buffy The Vampire Slayer has been my favorite thing in the entire world since I was about 9. My grandpa had me watch the Movie. And I thought Luke Perry was the Sexiest man. And I started to VHS tape the TV show every single week from 4th grade on. I was Obsessed. My entire middle school high school personality was Buffy. To this day I think James who plays Spike in the TV show is my favorite fictional character ever created. I love him. ❤️

the s&s production situation is gnar lol 🔥🔥🔥 good recs, great stories! always down for the unscripted vibe. lmao i was wondering what happened with that haunted mansion sign situation, hilariously anticlimactic and the spider story lmaoo that just makes me want to see cobweb. that’s the power of art! nothing like bringing a curse upon yourself and your loved ones. good family fun! and glad the wrists are on the mend! been working a lot lately so I need to catch up on a lot of these releases. so hype the theaters are poppin these days- viva la cinema! I wish the box office turnout would translate to sag/wga negotiations somehow… maybe they will, who knows!

Hey Kylee how's it going? Glad you're doing better in regards to your carpel tunnel issue. I've been there it's not fun. lol. On the topic, I have a recommendation that could help (people have also sworn by it helping) to reduce future problems like carpel tunnel, back, neck and shoulder pain. It's a little pricey though, it's called a Kenisis Advantage Ergonomic keyboard. It has several advantages to help reduce stress in your wrists, back, shoulders and neck. 1. the way it's shaped concave so your wrists rest downward. 2. the keys are vertical instead of diagonal allowing natural finger movement instead of crossing them over. 3. the keys are similarly placed like a split keyboard (far apart allowing your elbows and arms to be at shoulder length instead of inward which causes chronic pain. Highly recommend it but it's not a cheap keyboard. Keep up the good work, love your content.

Fuck yeah, Oppenheimer was phenomenal! I watched it with one of my best friends in the theater, and…damn, if Cillian Murphy isn’t at least nominated for Best Actor, that would be a shame. Another standout to me was Florence Pugh, and of course Matt Damon was great. It was one of the best cinema experiences I’ve ever had. As for Theater Camp, I think I’d get a kick out of that, I was a theater kid myself. And yeah, I grew up loving the Percy Jackson books, and I absolutely despise those movies, haha. I’m hoping that the series will do the books justice. By the way, did you know Lance Reddick, who played Papa LegBa in AHS played Zeus in the Percy Jackson show? I think they filmed all of his scenes before he passed away.

Awesome video, Kylie. I saw the Barbie movie with my friends. We freaking LOVED it. At first I thought it was going to be PG-rated until I saw one of the TV spots, which the film's rating was revealed to be PG-13. I love the movie's story, characters and concept. This was without a doubt the most iconic Warner Bros movie since the Space Jam movies. I thought Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling were both perfect as Barbie and Ken respectively. I can't wait to purchase this film on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray. I also purchased my 4K Steelbook copy of Scream 6 from Best Buy and watched it. Still an AWESOME horror movie. I can't wait for Scream 7. I also went through ALL 3 seasons of the Scream TV series on Netflix. Even though it was almost flawed, I still enjoyed it. The Ghostface mask in the first two seasons looked horrendous. Thankfully in the third season, the Ghostface killer went back to his OG mask. I also liked the acting, even though some of them were just rough around the edges. I watched Urban Legend on the Tubi app and I loved it. One of my favorite horror movies in the post-Scream era. I hope the film gets re-released on 4K Ultra High Definition Blu-ray by Scream Factory. I also watched "Zoey 102" on Paramount Plus. This film is a worthy follow-up to the 2005-08 Nickelodeon TV series "Zoey 101". The story, characters, acting, humor and concept were ALL terrific. The film brought together almost all the characters from the show. As far as their humor goes, the characters have evolved from kid-friendly humor to adult-oriented humor, very much like the iCarly reboot.

I'm in love with that pink ghost behind you Kylie. I couldn't stop staring at it the whole video. I'm gonna have to look into getting one and I don't even like the color pink haha. Your nails go with green light. I'm a sucker for colored lighting. I'm glad you watched Huesera the Bone Woman. The scene where she's laying on the bed and the thing happens messed me up I'm up. I'm diabetic so I have to watch my feet and that got to me. I loved the ending. Kinda wished there was more imagery in the rest of the movie like that. Whenever you do another witch horror stream it's gonna be on my list somewhere. I gotta rewatch it soon. After you did the Martyrs stream curiosity got the better of me and I watched the "remake". Gotta tell ya if you watch it you should watch it on stream and we can all make fun of it together. I watched it by myself and I was shocked at how poorly made it was. Think Martyrs made for Syfy but even more soulless and incompetent. It's a total cashgrab. Whatever they paid Troian Bellisario was NOT enough. She carries the whole movie as best she can and the movie seems to resent her for even trying. Pretty sure the people who made it have never even seen a movie before. Yeah, you should totally stream it with all of us. Like a drunk stream cause we'll all need it haha Even though I don't drink! If anything the "remake" has made me appreciate the original even more. And Pascal Laugier is a legit great director. I know you said you didn't want people in the comments bugging you about it. Hope I didn't do that. I just wanted to give you a specific idea what it actually is. I hope this was more helpful than just "movie bad". And it's totally spider season! Pa is crawling with creepy crawlies right now. One ran up my laptop screen and disappeared somewhere in my room last night!

Much like I said on your stream with Selis, I really love the ambiance of this video. It has such a cozy vibe to it. But with the shows and movies, there's several you mentioned that I've been meaning to watch like the Fear Street series. As a DC fan, I have such a hard time watching Suicide Squad cause I know their live action movies are always mixed and that is one of them for me. It honestly makes me so disappointed that the quality of their recent live action films has pretty much ruined most people's view on DC movies, which sucks cause their animated stuff are awesome. It makes me hope that with the success of the Spiderverse movies that it will wake DC up to go back to their roots and make quality animated movies again cause even some of their recent animated stuff are just okay. Though I do plan to watch Blue Beetle this month with my friend so I'm hoping that will be good. As for the other stuff, I really gotta watch the Fear Street series. I've been meaning to watch it but I just haven't had time. Also I get you with the whole theater experience. I don't remember really having any terrible theater experience but yeah I get you on the shit you mentioned people do at theaters. It's kind of what has turned me off on wanting to go to theaters cause I just don't want to deal with all that Bs. It's like a lot of people don't know have etiquette. Besides that I definitely recommend watching Buffy when you can. I actually still have to finish the show since I stopped around season 6 but since it was a while ago, I'm probably just gonna rewatch from season 1 again. But thanks for another great monthly recap Kylie! Also I'm happy you're wrist is doing better

The background looks pretty cool.. bright green and hot pink always clash well lol.. I haven't seen Theater Camp but I'd probably check it out.. it seemed to remind me of Waiting For Guffman (1996), which is one of the funniest movies ever.. Christopher Guest wrote, stars and directed it.. it also stars Catherine O'Hara, Fred Willard, Eugene Levy and Parker Posey, it's a genius mockumentary about stage/theater, couldn't recommend it enough.. I've only seen the Fear Street trilogy once, might revisit it this October.. I remember thinking 1994 was solid but not loving the way they tried to do the 90s, showing AOL and using some 90s songs wasn't believable enough for me lol, but it still had some nice horror moments.. 1976 was easily my favorite and actually felt like the 70s even though I didn't live through them, Sadie Sink was great and it had nice camp/slasher vibes.. and combining the original David Bowie version of "The Man Who Sold the World" with Nirvana's version was pretty awesome.. I didn't care for 1666 at all, but the film literally ends with 2 of my favorite Pixies songs back to back so it gets extra credit lol, unfortunately they used the remastered version Gigantic which is noticeable different from the classic original version which is a GOAT track..

Kylie, great vid. I'm in the middle of watching John Carpenter's Big Trouble in Little China. John Carpenter is my favourite director. Oh, I read a very good horror novel: The cabin at the End of the World by Paul Tremblay. Which they turned into the film: Knock at the Cabin Door. But the novel - and praised by Stephen King - is well worth reading.

Oh and your story about your volleyball coach, I forgot to mention that I can relate in having a pretty shitty coach or well actually I had two. One of them like yours had a sort of punishment mentality and would have us run laps and I remember one time he belittle me on how I ran/walked and called it abnormal. Which as a 13 year old kid made me so self-conscious. Also because I was one of the shortest and skinniest in the class, I recall being called shorty and skinny boy, which really messed me up as I've struggled with my weight and height for so long. And the other coach I had, I remember she would always insult us no matter what we did for her but would praise/favorite certain people in the class and to say stuff like "be more like them!" and "you could learn something if you watch them!" I seriously don't get teachers who do stuff like this

I love Fear Street 1978 and 1666 as those ones actually made me emotional and I felt bad for those characters more. Justice for Sarah and Hannah! We hate the Goodes! 1994 pissed me off enough that I almost didn’t watch the rest of the trilogy until a week or two later. I really did not like Deena in 1994 because of how selfish and controlling she was with Sam, considering she was the reason why Sam was in trouble in the first place. Girl went from “I hate you” to “I will let my best friends and possibly my brother die to save you”. Nothing against the actress because I LOVED her as Sarah. My other gripe was that Ziggy should’ve ended Nick because she was his victim of gaslighting and the reason that she and her sister were killed (even tho she was revived by his powers).

Here's a pro-tip, I've done it and many others have and it works! Use pepermint (oil, defuser, tea bags) or mint to get rid of bugs, rodents and arachnids. They hate the smell. I have a defuser with peppermint oil and hung up peppermint tea bags all over my house lol. I was infested with insects and mice that would come in and not even bother to help out with paying for bills. (fu**ing freeloaders r.r). But it seems to of worked. The only thing I've let stay in my house is a cute harmless green Anole lizard =3 helps also with pest control. I use to think mice were helpful and harmless but nope! They can carry the HENTA virus and there's no cure for it. I had a few for pets before I knew about that then I had to get rid of them... I was pretty heartbroken since I had them for a few months and grew attached to them... but there was that and also they were eating their young :/..
