I have watched most all of your videos over the last day or so because our stories are very similar. I bought a black 2013 F150 4X4 Supercrew with the 5.0 in June of 2013 and am ordering a 2024 Maverick Lariat Hybrid next week (July 17, 2023). I have 118,XXX miles on my F150 but haven't worked it as hard as yours. I also replaced my water pump early on (~60K miles) but thankfully it only cost me about $500. My A/C blower motor went out and had to be replaced, and my oil pan started leaking at about 100K so I replaced the seal. Other than that, it has been very reliable and is in tip top shape. I do look forward to getting 35+ mpg vs. the 16 that I have gotten for the last 10 years and hope that my Maverick will be as reliable as my F150 has been. Enjoy the content, keep it up!

Woah we are living the same truck-life in alternate dimensions or something! Thanks so much for watching! Crazy that our trucks had similar problems too. Or maybe predictable 🤔? @@brendandrives I am ordering a Hybrid Lariat and was going to order the Lariat Lux package before Ford incorporated it into the standard Lariat for 2024. I'm bouncing between Carbonized Grey, Hot Pepper Red, and the new Terrain for color. The B&O sound system for me and heated seats for my wife were necessities. The sticker on my F150 was ~$45K and I paid $35K + TT&L back in 2013. That same truck today would be around $60K and I just won't spend that for a depreciating asset. I look forward to your next video!

@@bruinlane wow even our logic is almost identical! Shocking what 10 years of inflation can do to truck prices. I’m leaning towards Terrain too! Now it’s a race to see who gets their truck first! 😆🛻💨

6’5” and you want a Maverick?? FFS, I’m only 5’9” and my F-150 crew cab is just enough room for me where I don’t have to dip my head, crunch to get out, or feel like I have minimal room. A Mav for me would be feeling like a sardine in a can. How the heck you gonna be comfortable or even FIT in a mav?… just curious 💁🏽‍♂️

Yeah it’s counterintuitive! I’ve driven them quite a bit and know I fit. But I also just love smaller vehicles. Had a Focus, Miata, S13 coupe, etc. Dream about Exiges, GR86’s and other small cars 😆
