But it was at the other end of the school and we had a pretty decent sized campus. Plus we were an outdoor school not an indoor school so it's not like smoke was spreading through the halls or anything. Also this is the CLASSIC shape of a pencil sharpener. Google it.

I've never seen it mentioned with this movie, but I think the reason Needy knows when Jennifer is murdering someone is due to that sandbox, kissing her wound scene. The demon possessed Jennifer's body and Needy technically consumed a tony bit of her body so when the demon comes out full force in Jennifer it registers with Needy too. That doesn't fully explain why we don't see Needy reacting to Jennifer's first two murders, but perhaps she wrote those ones off as trauma responses from the fire or something

I also think it’s to highlight their queer connection. One of the times Needy has her spidy sense is literally when her bf is insider her and she couldn’t be less engaged in sex with him. She doesn’t give two fucks about him compared to Jennifer. The movie shows Needy cares for him but she’s not in love with him
