I recently deleted my Hazbin Hotel video and completely redid it. And ever since then, I've noticed that the comments on this video have gotten _A LOT_ more toxic, because nobody understands the context behind this video anymore. So now, it seems that I have to physically tell everybody to watch the Hazbin Hotel video first so that nobody gets the wrong idea. Helluva Boss feels like a comical cartoon for laughs and light-heartedness, and Hazbin Hotel is a more plot-driven storyline show. It all comes down to what style of television people prefer, really (and it is possible to one-hundred percent like both of them about the same).

I just realized that I missed a pretty big one. When Moxxie shot the kid, he said that it was all Loona's fault for giving them "bad information" on the target, which makes zero sense. Moxxie just missed, plain and simple. *Edit 5/6/2020* Apparently that kid at the end of the pilot sounds a lot like another character that Richard Horvitz voiced. But I wouldn't know. personally i like helluva boss more than hazbin hotel. i’m not quite sure why, i think it’s funnier and i tend to like shows more when they have a few main characters and other side characters rather than all the characters introduced are main characters. even if hazbin does have a set group of main characters, it isn’t conveyed very well since they all have around the same amount of screen time. but that’s just a nitpick of mine. i like how simple helluva boss is as well compared to hazbin.

I'm a little surprised you didn't mention the moment when Blitzo calls Loona family and she, for the first time, genuinely smiles at him. During most of the pilot she's rude, insulting, and temperamental but that moment really stuck with me the first time I watched it. That simple sweet smile gave the character a whole new layer of depth not because she was just smiling, but because of why. Loona likes being reminded she part of the family.

The only thing I don't like about the first episode of Helluva Boss is the kids talking scene it's so dragged out 🙄 otherwise! I love it especially how Brandon Rogers is voicing blitzo (the o is silent)!! I highly recommend Brandon's channel too he is beautiful for this universe in general

Why waste money that could be spent on the animation and visuals on a voice actor that barely appears in the show.? They used a well liked voice actor they already had, not only for fan service but to make it easier on themselves. Hiring and paying a new voice actor would have been WAY too much work for one line. I agree a lot with your last statment. So I think the reason I like Helluva Boss more is because I've been following Hazbin Hotel for years. And they only made one episode in six years (, I think?). My excitement faded. As for Helluva Boss, was a complete surprise to everybody. Also I'm a huge fan of Brandon Rogers.

My biggest complaint with Helluva Boss and why I’m not obsessed with it like I am Hazbin, even thought I absolutely love the cast is its continuity. I found myself having to rewatch many times to figure out what was going on and even then I couldnt tell exactly what the timeline is supposed to be and why. Its very difficult sometimes knowing what exactly is happening and where they are, or even why they say certain things other than exposition dump. it’s really frustrating.

Funny thing is, I like Helluva Boss better. A girl's quest to redeem the souls of sinners doesn't appeal to me as much as the premise of Helluva boss being about the misadventures of 3 imps and 1 hellhound who have business in killing people every time a sinner pays for a hit. I keep forgetting this is supposedly in the same world as Hazbin Hotel. Heck, if Helluva Boss's hell is what real hell turns out to be, I'd rather exist there. Granted, I find it unfair that I can't jump across rings and there's a cull every year that threatens my existence, but otherwise, Hell is teeming with life, and am I enjoying that life!

8:14 This reminds me of what happened with Shrek and Dreamworks. At first, Shrek was looked at as the ugly stepsister. A project that was not designed to take center stage by comparison to other Dreamworks Productions of the time (The Prince of Egypt being notable), After its release it took the entire studio by storm leaving Prince in the dust. (Honestly, ask random people on the internet about either one and your going to get more people who know more about Shrek vs The Prince of Egypt.) In the context of this, you can see Helluva Boss akin to Shrek, the side project that absolutely took the internet by storm. Reference the fact that there is already 7 episodes (with another season on the way) of Helluva Boss vs Hazbin Hotel not getting past the pilot (Yes i am aware that Hazbin has been taken up by a network studio, but i have yet to see an actual start to Hazbin Hotel) I loved everything i have seen out of this studio and look forward to seeing more.

Honestly, I agree with alot of what you said and I think I know the reason why the humor is so formulated as you put it. I feel the main reason is because Brandon Rogers helped write this show and, if you're familiar with his style of comedy, this is very much his kind of joke telling style. Now, this is what i want from a reaction/conclusion video. The user reacting is honest, and isnt afraid to admit the downfalls and the uphills on whatever it is they are watching, showing their real responses and concerns to it. Whilst a lot of other people may be afraid to admit facts that they think they may get hate for, resulting in lies and mistakes that are dishonest. The humor is also pretty fine, yes there is some exaggerations, but thats what makes humor, well, humor, its something to laugh at and make it not so serious. in conclusion, this guy is great, totally recommend him. his hazbin hotel video was also great, if not better.
