That was the worst for me. If I avoided a nap, Id just get a second wind the second the sun went down. I actually slept much better if I napped, but I think thats more of an anomaly
@justinreyesvАй бұрын
@@Ryan-qn1wrI find it’s not ideal to sleep in sessions, only person I’m neglecting is myself when I don’t sleep a full 8 hours and it likely carries over to my waking hours behavior and overall mood I’m not sure if I worded that right “waking hours” but I hope somehow my point is getting across. Happy sleeping and sweet dreams ✊🏼🌜🌘

All 💯 Alcohol is such a huge one too and eating sugar at night. Just eating after 6-7pm is not good. I tend to start my fasting at 6pm and I feel so much better for it.
@MedicalCentric16 күн бұрын
@eatlovetravelwithheidi That sounds like a smart approach! Starting your fast at 6pm can help improve digestion and overall energy levels. Avoiding alcohol and sugar, especially at night, can make a huge difference in how you feel. Keep up the great work and listen to your body-it knows best! 💪

Im always staying late till morning and my body got used to it that sleeping early make me sleepy after waking up than waking up after sleeping at 5am
@MedicalCentric3 ай бұрын
@onishiro2359 It sounds like your body’s internal clock has adjusted to a late-night routine, making it challenging to feel refreshed with earlier sleep. This can happen when our sleep-wake cycle becomes patterned around specific hours. Gradually shifting your sleep schedule earlier in small increments could help retrain your body to feel more rested, or you can keep your current schedule if it works for you. Just be mindful of getting enough total sleep, as that’s key to feeling energized!

I feel more aware then ever it is night time the room is dark.
@MedicalCentric5 ай бұрын
@JimTerry-rw9pv It sounds like you're in a heightened state of awareness, which can happen in the quiet and stillness of night. Sometimes, our minds become more alert when our surroundings are calm, allowing us to notice things we might usually overlook. If you're feeling restless, consider practicing some deep breathing or light relaxation techniques to help ease into a more peaceful state.

Circadian Rhythm
@MedicalCentric28 күн бұрын
@RolandoMoss The circadian rhythm is your body’s natural 24-hour cycle that regulates sleep, wakefulness, and other physiological processes. It’s influenced by external cues like light and darkness, helping your body know when it's time to be awake or sleep. Maintaining a regular sleep schedule and exposing yourself to natural light during the day can help keep your circadian rhythm in sync, which in turn improves your overall health and energy levels. 🌞🌙

1:19 cortisol also is released during stressful times
@MedicalCentric4 ай бұрын
@Clevelandsteamer324 Yes, cortisol is often referred to as the "stress hormone" because it's released by the adrenal glands during stressful situations. It helps regulate metabolism, immune response, and blood pressure, but prolonged high levels due to chronic stress can lead to various health issues, including anxiety, weight gain, and disrupted sleep patterns. Managing stress through techniques like mindfulness, exercise, and proper nutrition can help regulate cortisol levels.

Gentle reminders, positive reinforcement, and creating a calm, structured environment can work wonders in building awareness over time. Compassion is key! 💛😊
