Hot take but I hope in assault instead of everyone having beads people will have med for 12 levels and then their ward shard turns into beads at 12. In assault when you have a hard CC god like ares or daji your team will wait for you to engage with ultimate. If you have teammates who only wait for ult engages and the entire enemy team has beads your in for a long painful loss.

Yeah I tried getting back into smite after a few years hiatus and I lost my progress. I'm currently working on figuring out what happened. Was looking forward to smite 2 but this is putting a huge damper on the excitement.

kind of surprised they doing cernunnos and izzy before Artemis. I was also really hoping that Sylvanus would be in. not sure how many meta changes there were when i took a break from smite. i loved doing burst dmg builds with syl and blink. this was when they had boots and then when they removed them. when they still had boots and i did that kind of build in conquest with a friend. his buddies thought i was a dumbass for it, burst no boots. every time they needed help i was right there, blink in 1/4/3, then the other team would run depending on how hp they were i could get 1-3 kills. that stopped giving me shit after that during the run, i am not a conquest player but it was fun. Being able to use all the items is going to be interesting. there are some gods in smite one if they had certain items would just be unstoppable period. I just wonder how they would tweak them so it would not happen. i would come up with some off the wall builds that would get me a lot of shit in game from my team. when the match was over, my team did not give me a lot of shit. attack speed+frost bell, crit build izzy with the items that slow and reduced healing. loved my crit builds on art till they changed her passive :X

You can't use the banned account on smite 2 but you can make a new account on smite 2. Devs confirmed this. So you still lose everything and get no legacy gems, etcx.

So, the first time you boot up the Smite 2 play test it gives you a link to an "alpha expectations" web page. Right now this page is blank but I really like that they have it. I'm hoping to also have a place ahead of time where I can read the new items because building is something I'm interested in. Note for everyone playing the alpha, matchmaking will be AWFUL, expect a lot of f6 at 10 type games as folks experiment w/ builds and get used to new mechanics

I think they'd probably be wise to put arena into the alpha as well as conquest. As a gamemode it will probably be better at facilitating bug discovery and it will help ease in any new early adopters/allow a casual environment for build testing etc. If they made it like old arena without the juggernauts they could lower the barrier to entry for themselves as minion spawning, minion pathing and buff camps have already been worked out for conquest, so it's really only map design that could be prohibitive.

beads on an even longer cd than it was hurts my soul. Smite 1 already had such a crowd control creep where almost every god has at least 1 form of cc, often hard cc, and most times more. Beads is a must have but the cd was often way too long. and now you tell me it gets worse? ugh....
