Cherry blossoms were in bloom at Higashiyama Zoo.
Spring has come.
The temperature was rising and the gorillas were relaxing outside.
Shabani's children (Kiyomasa and Annie) were playing together.
However, it started to rain on the way and the gorillas took shelter from the rain.
When the rain stopped, Kiyomasa and Annie were playing together again.
Seeing the happy smiles on Kiyomasa and Annie's faces makes me happy too.

Now thats what i call some good play time between siblings ♥️🦍 had a smile on my face the whole time . Glad they got to play with no funny business involved 😅 nene and AI got to relax no running from annie or kiyo and shabani let them play even tho he came to check on them he let them be 🦍♥️

The large male silver back gorillas, are my favorite animal of all. They are just so, amazingly interesting to me. Even when I was a child, I felt this way about them. I truly wish that there was a way to design a large enclosure for them, that could be constructed so that on lookers would be able to see and hear the gorilla's, without the gorilla's being able to hear and see people watching them. I also believe, that they are completely uninhibited in nature. I too believe that they must know somehow, that they are not in their natural habitat.🦍 Love forever!!! ❤

Shabani is now very assertive and proactive and when I was there this last weekend he didn’t let Kiyo for one minute to get close the girls.
