In this video Dr. Varun Wasil an orthopaedic physiotherapist explained effective exercises for fast relief from shoulder pain. Rotator cuff injury is most common cause of shoulder pain. Supraspinatus tendonitis is commonest of all four rotator cuff muscles (supraspinatus, infraspinatus, teres minor and subscapularis).
Rotator cuff strengthening exercises are explained in this video with stretching of pectoral muscle and shoulder stretching. People with rotator cuff injury have many questions.
The common questions are as below:
How to increase internal rotation of shoulder
How to increase external rotation of shoulder
How to stretch pectoral muscles
Rotator cuff injury recovery time
Supraspinatus tendonitis.
Following exercises are explained in this video. shoulder exercises and shoulder stretches
1. posterior capsule stretch for shoulder to increase shoulder flexibility.
2. shoulder abduction exercise with wall to increase shoulder abduction.
3. internal rotation exercise with towel to increase internal rotation of shoulder.
4. shoulder exercise with theraband to increase shoulder abduction and strengthening of supraspinatus muscle.
5. external rotation in side lying position with weight cuff. strengthening exercise for shoulder external rotation.
6. side lying abduction of shoulder to increase abduction movement.

I have shoulder pain since 3months,but left untreated for 2months,after which I saw orthopedic,x-ray was done,diagnosed as cervical spondylosis,pain killer and vacuum were prescribed with soft collar, now again it's 3rd monthno releaf pain worsened،unable to lift hand roperly،,today morning I tried your exercises ,felt like I will be ok with your exercises God willing

I found all these exercises to be very much beneficial for a number of patients.. thank you very much sir such videos. However, I've a couple of questions, 1. Should we perform the stretch for posterior capsule if have supraspinatus & teres minor tear?? 2. Should we perform Spencer's 7 step shoulder mobilization technique on a patient who has supraspinatus & teres minor tear with Grade ll Frozen shoulder?? Please advice sir.. thank you..

Yes bro, I was suffering from shoulder pain and got a big relief...but I advice you to go to a doctor for advice because sometime this kind of exercises may worse your pain.

As a part of my daily stretching when I fold my right hand at my elbow and bring my palm(touching all the extended fingers together) on to my right shoulder and rotate clock wise, the top muscle on my shoulder slips giving me muscle pain.I hope I made myself clear! Will there be any special type of exercise for this? If so please demonstrate the same in ur next video. If the exercise shown in this video can rectify, then please confirm the same! Thank u all the

I have severe pain since I fell down and injured my shoulder. X Ray has been done but no broken bone. Cortisone injection was given by my Arthopedic Surgen but pain is not going way. Taking high doses prescription pain medicine every day since month and half.MRI will cost me lots! I want to start your exercise. Do you think it’s ok for me to start exercise and should I control the pain level 5 to 6 before I start exercise? Please reply. Thank you!

Thank you sir! It has been really helpful. I have got severe shoulder pain from last 5-6 years and is not getting cured. MRI report says SLAP tear and several small tears in tendons. Even after physiotherapy(including Ultrasound, IFT) feels the same pain while overhead motion and pain near infraspinatus insertion muscles while doing angled motion. This area has constant pain. Please advice.

Sorry, more painful area is teres minor insertion which has constant pain.

एक बार झटका लगने के कारण मेरा कन्धा उतर (shoulder disorder) गया था, जिसके बाद miscaring या अचानक गलत दिशा या हाथ से लटकते समय झटका लगने पर उतर जाता है, इसका स्थायी उपचार बताएं, exercise n medicines जिससे पहले की तरह फिर से मजबूत हो जाए। धन्यवाद।
