This video has been so helpful! Especially the last exercise. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and expertise. Quick questions: Can a weak glute med on one side cause a pelvic rotation (toward the stronger glute med)? What other postural compensations are common for a weak glute med on one side? I really hope to read your insights! Thanks once again!

Thank you for bringing this problem to our attention, many people do not notice it if it is not expressed. In the early stages, I often did similar stretches while holding on to the massive iron handrail by the stairs. I compared the possibilities of the unaffected side and tried to do that with the affected side. Have a nice week.

Thank you so much Dr Tara Tobias, your. Videos are so specific at the post stroke recovery. Thank you for re-reminding me for my hip drop and abductor spasticity. All these exercises are very crucial. I'm almost there at my maximum to normal. Heartily thanks again :)

I love your videos! But I confess there are so many it’s a little overwhelming. Are you supposed to do a different one (applicable to your issues) a day or stick with one, several times a week, for a few weeks before moving on? For example, I have foot drop/ankle spasticity, weak hip flexors, heavy leg, walk with a cane, etc. You have great videos for all (and more!) I just don’t know where to start.

Thank you for addressing this issue. I had been going to P.T. Didn’t explain as well as you did. You are definitely saving me $$. One ? So doing these exercises I should do both legs? No just my affect hip/leg. Peace

Yes, for several of the exercises in this video, you are working the hip abductor on both legs. In my experience, if you are in the early stage, it is easier to move the less involved leg first. As you get stronger, try moving the involved leg. I hope that helps!
