ER I love how you sacrifice for your viewers. I know you really wanted a day at the zoo, but you put us first, and I respect that. Love my Triumph 1215 Triples, but the 900 Street Twin engine is a great street bike. Haven’t ridden the 1200 Twin but I can imagine they are powerful with plenty of shove down low. Great video and the beach scene is epic. You obviously filmed during summer, but that gives us hope for the upcoming riding season. All the best and Happy New Year!

O yes, it was a tough decision 🤔😂yes this was filmed in August I think. Amazing road and place for the walk round. The 1200 is a very strong engine but it's not a massive jump from the 900. I find the 900 still pulls very well 👍🍻 thanks for Raydon again and all the best for 2022 🍾🍾

I think that's definitely a summer and weekend cruiser, perfect for where you were riding it. It would make a decent second bike for us commuters that want something different at the weekend. It looks a lot easier to work on than a bike with fairings too. Its all there, instant access. I think I must be getting old as I'm finding those kind of bikes more appealing. That said I was thinking how id like a Hayabusa this week as my SX is feeling a little bland! That may just be a mid life crisis kicking in though.
@exeterrider3 жыл бұрын
Not at all mate, it's all progress. Have you ridden a bike like this before. I have a few recommendations for you. As much as I like the sx, 4 pot engines just don't feel fun usable to me. I like low down power rather than chasing the top end. Hayabusa for me was one of the most uncomfortable riding positions I've ever ridden. If you ever want to try something different your welcome to try mine if you have third party on other bikes.

Been looking to add the Bobber with apes as my second bike next to my R1250R. However, a new Bobber is $13,400, but it would probably be $15k with apes, a seat, and taxes. Hardly any used Bobbers, but there are two 2018 Speedmasters near me, both with apes. One is red for $10,900 with 5k miles, some Motone parts, and the brown quilted seat. The other the two-toned paint for $10,600 with 900 miles, the comfort seat, and windshield. I might be getting a used Speedmaster over a Bobber. Closing on my house on Thursday, so I’ll be purchasing soon after.

I have a Softail Deluxe but the Harleys are extremely heavy to manoeuvre at slow speed, or to lug around in the garage. The Speedmaster is like a push bike by comparison as it hides its weight very well. I also think the weights quoted for the Harleys are, lets say, a little optimistic... P.S. I have a Speedmaster joining the fleet in 2022, but I will continue to own and ride the Deluxe until I can no longer manage its weight.
