Personally, I prefer abode cut to enlarge natural sandstone rock shelters. Takes about 3 years of day labor for one person. The sandstone must be solid as the layered type will collapse. I also know of a bay-side natural sea cave having a locked steel framed metal door at cavern rear. The stone was Monterey Shale. Softer than sandstone. 'Hmm', I said.

This city it's super dangerous do not go there under any reason . If u must make sure you check the security cameras are fully working and you must demand to have a preview of the security procedures of people who go in and out of the h9tel. Under no circumstances stay in a bed and breakfast or an airbnb. These place have a bizarre user term agreements that DISMISSES ANY RESPONSIBILITY FROM THE OWNERS PART IF YOU EXPERIENCE A CRIME ACTIVITY. CHECK WITH THE POLICE FOR AN ACTUAL CRIME REPORT. I can assure you they will not have it and will try to give you numbers from 2 years ago. Don't claim later that y9u were not adviced about the crime problem. This place isn't what it was 5 years ago. Safe travel!

Hahahahahaha, if you think Monterey is Dangerous you clearly have not spent a lot of time in San Francisco or LA.
@victorandradesuriano9734 жыл бұрын
@@jordancarey8907 actually I lived in both places not once I had a problem. San Francisco is not OAKLAND and Los Angeles is a huge city but, so is Monterrey. I lived and went to college there, I haven't seen behaved 9dies hang8ng out of bridges neither in LA or San Francisco. If you want to point really dangerous cities in the US do your homework first. Detroit, Baltimore, New Orleans, Houston, Albuquerque, etc SFO and LA yeah, they have issues specially homelessness but, we haven't seen the kind of crime cities like Laredo, Tijuana, Monterrey, Ciudad Juarez, Acapulco, etc there are just lawless cities. Sorry Jordan! Before the pandemic I drove in my RV ALONE from Oceanside to Quebec and from Quebecc to Miami and drove the 10 and 5 freeway back to Oceanside. @jasonplatt22284 жыл бұрын
I don't know if there are any all-vegan restaurants but there are quite a few vegetarian restaurants that have many vegan items to choose from. Saffron Cafe gets great reviews and has vegan Persian bowls which are hard to find in the U.S. If you like Indian food, try Ambrosia India Bistro which has many vegan choices. I would do a search on the Yelp and/or Happy Cow websites for more options. But you shouldn't have a problem finding vegan options in many, if not most, of the restaurants there.

Just to be clear----this is not a video or commentary about Monterey, it's of the whole Big Sur coast from far south to Monterey. So, as grand as this coast is, the video shows many miles of coastline that are not close to Monterey. Now, go for a great drive along Highway 1. It's worth the drive.

We live about an hour away and used to go every year. A must visit city in California. You can visit a monarch butterfly refuge, go watch the otters relaxing in the bay, and explore one of the best aquariums in the world. Honestly it’s probably famous for the aquarium alone. And if it’s not the aquarium to get giddy about, then let me tell you there’s nothing like a Monterey meal. Seriously. I have no idea why the food is so good down in Monterey. Maybe it’s the smell of the ocean that helps
