I was in a bar with my coworker of 28 years the other night. Two Cops having a nice Bourbon. I asked him how he was doing and he said “ I’m addicted to this show called Expedition Overland.” I laughed and said I’ve seen every episode. Neither one of us had any idea we both loved adventuring!!! Amazing job to the entire team!!

I can't believe I just binge watched this entire series without stopping. All I did was search for "off-roading" on KZbin and click the first video. 5 hours later here I am. From the very first shot I was captivated and stayed as such until the very end. The storytelling, cinematography, landscapes and camaraderie really ties together to form a masterpiece. Y'all got such an eye for drone work, its inspiring. Im curious what model you fly with? And the balls it takes to get those shots with planes and helicopters flying around really shows the level of skills by the pilots involved. Super stoked to discover this page and hopefully catch up on some of the other adventures. Cheers

Your video series is one of the main reasons I got into overlanding. Bought a Tacoma and began the process of dialing it in with the gear that I wanted. 3 years later I've been to some cool places. I started to journal while on these trips thanks to Clay. Here's a sample from one of the more memorable times I spent alone. Thank you for the inspiration. "Yesterday evening I found myself skipping rocks across the water at a remote lake in northern Maine. No one else around for miles. Just the sound of the wind and the water gently hitting against the shore. I reached down for the next rock to skip and without meaning to I picked up what I believed to be a Native American arrowhead. I stood there turning it over and over in the palm of my hand. I sat down on the ground right next to where I found it, holding it in my hand I looked out at the water and wondered what the owner of this object was like. How old was he? What did he look like? What was he doing here, and how did the arrowhead end up dropping at this very spot? I wondered if he was feeling victorious in that moment, perhaps gutting and cleaning a deer by the water's edge. Or maybe he was feeling defeated having no luck that day on the hunt, returning home empty handed with winter coming. Was he doing his own form of soul searching? Hell, maybe he was just skipping rocks. I sat there for a long time, wind blowing against my face, sun setting, taking some sort of unusual comfort in knowing the insignificance of my life. The wind will keep blowing in the trees and the water will keep hitting against the shoreline. The scene that I was observing will play out time and time again whether that Native American or myself are there to see it. Lately I have found comfort in the simplicity of nature. As complex as it is with so many moving parts, there is an honesty in the brutality of it all. The coyote does not hide or mask its intentions from the rabbit, and the rabbit does not have to wonder if the coyote is going to try and eat it. It just knows. I tucked the arrowhead back into the rocks where I found it. I felt if I were to have kept it, it would have somehow cheapened the experience that I just shared with that person from the past. I stood up and started to walk away, looking over my shoulder the arrowhead had vanished, surrounded by the thousands of other similar looking rocks. I wondered when would be the next time someone held it in their hand. When I sat back down at the fire, I remembered a quote that seemed fitting." "It must be a poor life that achieves freedom from fear. So, take measured risks, and get out into wild places, perhaps with an increased appreciation for the fragility of our own time here on earth." - Aldo Leopold

I live near Hatcher pass and i still binge watched this whole thing tonight. What's funny is Alaskans are just as excited about Alaska and those who've only heard of it and always wanted to come. Every year we camp the Alaskan wilderness, we subsistence dip net sockeye, we fish for halibut etc in Seward inn our boat. We live this Alaska lifestyle, but we still love to watch others experience it too.

Finally watched this last episode. As a lifelong Alaskan, living in Wasilla, I can truly say I love seeing non-locals thoroughly enjoying themselves fully immersing themselves in what our state has to offer. Bad luck on the fishing though. The last few years have been pretty rough for South Central salmon runs, but at least Willow Creek was showing some life. Willow, little Willow, and the Susitna rivers are my go to fishing and floating spots, and they're all within 50 miles of me.

As an advid outdoorsman myself, my interest in overlanding is just in it’s infancy as I am currently considering buying a TRD Off-Road for my son, who also has his learners permit, and will turn 16 this April. I just recently discovered this channel and all I can say is wow…just wow. The simplicity of the way the story is told and the cinematography of this series is just phenomenal. Absolutely held my attention throughout and really connected. At times during this series, I found myself with a small tear in my eye, knowing that same feeling of shared experiences and adventures with my son in the outdoors. I also recognize the amount of planning, time, and money that it must’ve taken for such an adventure…so from one outdoorsman to another, thank you for sharing and taking us on the adventure with you! Please keep the adventures coming!!!

Determined more than ever I would waste no more time dreaming. Those that have there health have a 1000 dreams. Those that don’t only have 1. We have not wasted another day since. First of all this is one of the best series I have watched on yt, the picture quality and cinematic techniques incredible to say the least. Second off having just come home from a trip in Iceland and after going super keeping there, I think I would be really cool if you guys came to Iceland for a expedition especially in winter. The nature and scenery is just incredible and I think I would be a good snow expedition if you made the trucks with bigger tires (40 to 46in is what they use here) and camped on a glacier, and what not
