CITIES SKYLINES is an interesting combination of city planning, budget making, and accidentally drowning citizens in molten filth. Today, we take on the challenge to create the "perfect" city of 100,000 citizens. Through meteors, tornados, and my own sheer incompetence, can we do it? (Probably not)

Also you should note that if you zone residential in large quantity then all citizens will age at same rate and you will see these death waves. Hence, you should zone residential slowly.

For a game designed by Swedish people, it does like to force you to build an all American type city [ and we all know why ].

However, if you want to be able to build a big city you got to go for public transports or a very, very, very large road layout. As shown here. If you build shops close to houses, your cims will walk there. The fact that cities skyline is car centric probably comes simplicity/lazyness from the devs than a will to go muuuh 'murica.

@@clnetrooper Even in IRL, cars are the flexible, jack of all trades, brute force approach to problems. Public transport, just like IRL, is theoretically better, but requires a TON of forward thinking and careful layout design, more so than for roads. Honestly, the best IRL option is probably automated rockets that are launched out of railguns, and suicide burn to save on landing costs. That, or teleworking. One or the other.

fun fact about forest fire they don't need to be in your zone to get the alert one time during a thunder storm I got the forest fire alert and couldn't find any trees on fire in my zone. Then I moved the camra so it wasn't top down and could see the rest of the map. . .MORE THEN HALF OF THE WHOLE MAP WAS ON FIRE.

Let's say for a minute, that hypothetically, everyone was in fact kung fu fighting. Now statistically speaking of course, this is impossible. Now hypothetically if they were, hypothetically of course. Now, would they all be performing the same so called Kung Fu move? Statistically speaking that is highly unlikely.
