If one is living in a higher latitude or in the Pacific NW where rain and overcast are common would the use of a tanning salon be an effective way to compensate for the lack of UV light?
@Thebusysuperhuman2 ай бұрын
You need to use UV with red light always or outside - a Chroma D or A Krypton is best
@blue-e9sАй бұрын
Hey Sara, what do you recommend in terms of light temperature for monitor (working at office 8h a day) and for looking at phone throughout the day? Obviously I put the blue blocking filter on at evening, but I don't know if it's better to have it on all day instead (from morning onward) or only after sun is down? As I am working in the office full time it's an important matter to me obviously - currently filtering blue light at work (yellowish screen), while phone screen is reddish all the time. Artificial light is only part of the spectrum anyway, so is there a point in removing the blue light filter on phone and/or monitor during the day (since we would get blue light outside at that time naturally, although it's full spectrum instead of only a part of it) or perhaps having the blue light filter on all the time should be more beneficial as it could reduce hormone disruption (cortisol, blood sugar, insulin) even though it's daylight. Btw for some reason I find your voice really enjoying to listen to :), thanks for all the information you share.

So cold can compensate for the lack of uv in northern latitude?

It can. Read the Jack Kruse blogs about Cold Thermogenesis for a way deeper dive about it.

Splitting hairs like this and creating intricate regiments creates unnecessary stress, which ultimately must negate all the potential benefits. Solutions should be simple. Besides it’s hard to justify such complex an approach with an ancestral premise at the basis. I doubt our ancestors were very much concerned with the frequencies of light and timing of their breakfast. Removing artificiality from your life must be the key here. Otherwise fantastic channel. Just discovered it and enjoying it tremendously. Thank you!!

The devil is in the detail with light But basics anybody can do are See sunrise Get UVA in am Make your own vitamin D from UVB Get rid of artifical lights like LED Block blue light & bright light after sunset Make sure you are off screens 2 hrs before bed Make your bedroom pitch black and tech free Will take you a long way

What do people in England and other places who have periods of very low sunlight do? I have a schedule that will not allow me to follow circadian rhythm. I’m hoping my body has found adjustments accordingly. I’m carnivore near 💯 %.
@Thebusysuperhuman2 ай бұрын
I live in Leeds so I have a whole routine for UK circadian approach You need blue blockers for certain Also you need to use the cold to make UV inside you In winter I do just fish, lamb, goose and beef - no dairy or butter But I’ve found food isn’t enough even if I’m strict like right now

Steak or wild caught salmon for breakfast? OK, I'll just put an order in for a big lottery win. I, my parents and grandparents have eaten cereal and toast for breakfast all our lives and we're totally fine - well, my grandparents aren't - they're dead - but they both died in their late 90s without any disease.

That before there was so much nnEMFs and artificial light. Just get some raw beef mince and have that with some tallow or lard for breakfast as that’s not expensive or eat processed cereal junk for breakfast if you want - your body

I’ve got a huge amount of videos on this channel with free info that took me hours to make not selling anything. Like the Mitchondrial haplogroup video I made after this. Then it’s wasted on ungrateful people like yourself If you don’t want to watch podcasts about products watch all the ones I have on information Also the way you wrote this was a bit like a toddler having a tantrum so mabye work on your mindset and negative attitude before firing off negative comments about 1 video with a product in it. You clearly don’t get quantum yet and it’s far more than just light, water and magnetism
