The dust Is from high winds that occur every few days because of air pressure diffences between the coast and desert. Once the pressure equalizes, the wind calms down.

I was in California desert on I-10 driving towards Arizona. I got a urgent message "Read Now" on the qualcomm. After driving for a bit I finally found a place to pull over to read the "Urgent Message". The message was about a hurricane in the gulf of mexico. I pulled over for that. I was 1000 miles from a hurricane. This happened several years ago.

You mentioned oil in LA. Born an raised in Azusa, we would go to beach in fifty’s. Get Tar on feet. Downtown LA we would visit La Brea tar pits. Must see. As always enjoying ur comments an video. Take care.

We recently drove across US pm hwy 40. We hit dust from Mojaave Drsert to Arkansa. Heavy head wind all the way, real hea y wind in NM😊

Fuel cost such a diesel is $6.50 a US gallon here in New Brunswick Nov.5 probably go up on Thursday. California is like British Columbia CA. very high prices on fuel.

I don’t know if it’s the reason but when I worked for a company they had to pay us for time we worked if we were not driving.. when we pumped fuel ⛽️ or Pre-Trip or anything that wasn’t driving and we were on the clock we had to get paid at least the minimum if we lived in California or Washington.. maybe that’s why they don’t hire people from here? 🤷🏻‍♂️😂

The 1099 is so that companies don’t take advantage of truckers and classify them as 1099 contract workers and don’t pay for health and benefits when the workers isn’t independent and is forced dispatch.
