Episode 320 : Season 10 : New Zealand - Aotearoa
Hello Friends,
On this episode Zhané and myself head back to the sea caves we had check out from the dinghy the day before to see what there was to see under the water! I love getting to explore places like this, places only reachable by boat! It's really what this adventure is all about!

I've been watching your adventures at sea, time to time, since you first sailed out on Day 1 i'm guessing from Long Beach, from all the containers. Amazing adventure you're doing, once in a life time, i bet everyone watching wished they had the courage you do to do it. I used to live in Irvine CA a few years back, about when you started, then moved to Corona CA, and then my wife and I moved overseas to Italy about a year ago. It put a smile on my face knowing you're still going on your adventure, that you didn't park it. Congrats, and be safe, if you ever make it to the Genoa Italy area, let me know, I'll stop by for a caffe....

Yeah it’s been a wild adventure, “Day 1” for me was April 29th 2017 when I bought Triteia and started filming this adventure long before untied the lines at Marina Del Rey. Seems love several lifetimes ago

Well I’m not sure about marine works, but I do know it’s the Home Town birth place of Christopher Columbus, he was from Genova / Genoa, in Italian it’s called Genova, where it all started.

Sweet cave adventure! 👍I was particularly fascinated by all the deep grooves in the rocks underwater...had me wondering how they were made...almost missed the stingray, lol. The boat looked so cozy when it's raining.🌧 Glad y'all got back before the shower set in.🌦 Cool that Zhané was there to accompany you on your exploration(s)!🐠🏊‍♂🐟🏊‍♀🚶‍♀🥾🚶‍♂ Looking forward to your further adventures around Aotearoa! 🇳🇿 Thanks for sharing James!🙏 May fair winds be with you my friend!🌬⛵

Those danged elusive Kiwis… ! One day you’ll FINALLY see one and I’m sure it’ll be all that much more beautiful and exciting than if you had found one right away a couple of episodes back when you were trying sooo hard to find them. I just paused this episode to send this and now I’m getting back to it to see the snorkeling . New Zealand is another beautiful place on this planet we call home. Thanks for doing what you do allowing us to experience all these beautiful and amazing places vicariously through you. Fair winds until next time Capt. James ⛵️🤙🏼

Super cool drive locations! If I were you I wouldn't miss an opportunity to get in the ever! To travel so far, and for the journey to take such an extended period of time justifiably would seem to be a shame to miss the opportunity to dive and explore as often as possible.. I see you met some cute friends along the way? Awesome! good for you..

Very beautiful episode. The boat looks a little rough with the bare resin at the companion way and the bent starboard solar panel. Does it still work?
@SailorJames
@SailorJames Жыл бұрын
Triteia is not a marina princess boat, she is an adventure yacht that has seen 9000nm since leaving Los Angeles. She is a working boat. And yes that panel was still producing 50WATTS of power before it was replaced

It is kind of interesting how ubiquitous seagulls are they're the same species everywhere it seems on all continents even in the central United States which is landlocked for the most part unlike many other species of bird seagulls are seagulls regardless of where you go in this on this planet it seems, shorelines and stones volcanic rock etc. can vary I would think if you scrape leading me there's always a chance you could tear a hole in it depending on the shoreline,,>> 6:46 . I'm probly in the minority here, but I think that adding the "eye candy" is a net-negative for overall video quality. Don't get me wrong, she's nice and attractive but it shifts my attention away from the "sailing" and "scenery" to her "anatomy" cuz she's cute and has nice legs, etc., and is not shy about showing them. Anyway, just one guy's opinion.
@SailorJames
@SailorJames Жыл бұрын
Bro, the fact that you are objectifying a woman who is swimming is most certainly a YOU problem. Having a friend adventure with me is not “adding eye candy”. You need to reread what you wrote and give a hard look at yourself. Because that sure as hell ain’t my problem.
@charliebrown30060
@charliebrown30060 Жыл бұрын
Bro what the heck does this even mean. That is a person existing with another person. If you’re specializing anyone just existing on a boat, in the water, on a plane, sitting drinking tea, or whatever then that’s on you. Tldr… you’re being sus

It's not a PROBLEM to notice attractive women, and I'm sure that you noticed the same thing, assuming that you're heterosexual. The "hard look" needs to be focused on how women present themselves. Not trying to be prudish, but wearing short-shorts is a sure-fire way to get guys to look. Western women wear the most revealing attire, only to complain that men "harass" them. The Muslims have got this more right than Westerners do ... cover it up or someone may say something. It's biology, guy.
@masterblaster2626
@masterblaster2626 Жыл бұрын
First, James says that I'm "objectifying", then you say that I'm "specializing" someone ... what do these terms even mean? Women are women, and men are men ... they are "objectively" different, and "especially" different, and one cannot become the other. So, I see an attractive women (wearing short-shorts), who I think distracts from the real sailing experience, and you guys try to "White Knight" for her cuz why? She knows perfectly well that when she dons her short-shorts, any guy with an ounce of testosterone is going to check her out and she wouldn't have it any other way.
