Today we will learn How to make amber walnuts. What are Amber Walnuts? Amber walnuts are a Chinese version of candied walnuts. In today's video I will teach you my version of candied walnuts. These crunchy sugar coated walnuts will have a nice sugar coating. They won’t stick to each other and are super crispy!
Have you ever wondered how to make walnuts crunchy ? The process for these walnuts takes a little bit longer than the western version. This Asian version gives you a very crispy evenly coated walnut. These nuts are deep fried after the sugar coating for an extra crispy walnut.

I've never seen nor heard of these before. I've had candied nuts but regular ones so this is very fascinating and unique to me. It looks so crunchy, sweet and so yummy. I can probably eat the whole batch in one sitting. Learnt something new today. 😍🤤👍

This is the second time i made it. The first time half of the batch was burned 😅. Today i made 6 batches. I will never do it again. My back hurts and it takes me 4 hours🥴😩. I will sell it at my sisters restaurant, but I won't do such an amount again. Last time it tastes amazing, but for selling I will do my thai candied peanuts bc it 's faster.

That’ll give the walnuts a nice golden brown color. You can eliminate the maltose if you don’t have it 😊
