ThatDudeinBlue I gotta give u a thumbs down bro . You reviewed plenty of mustangs with different set ups which is great but why would u review another mustang with a 5.0 ? The truck engine is the same ! With a lower compression ratio! Smh 🤦♂️
@Jesse.Crenshaw5 жыл бұрын
@@THEREAL_GZUS Compression ratio isn't the only difference. The Camshafts are different, both exhaust and intake, along with the tuning of when the CAMS come on. The truck motor comes stock with exhaust manifolds, whereas the mustang comes with short headers. Of course, this guy has long tubes. I own an F150 (RCSB) and a Mustang both with the 5.0. The character of the motor is totally different in the two vehicles. Just the cam change makes a huge difference.

The speedo needs a Dakota digital box to fix it. Johnathan budget was done and eating up more so we skipped it. The heater worked and ac worked after it left my shop. So why those dont work I dont know. I know he has issues with a compressor from former calls to him.

The truck Coyote also has a different intake manifold, different cam profile, and different exhaust manifolds vs a Mustang Coyote. The truck setup is made for more low end torque and make great street car engines. We see Gen 1 Coyotes make 430-440whp with good headers, intake, and a custom tune. Look for the s197 leather and wood upgrade, they literally made it look like a 69 interior all the way, no more cheap stuff, just the best rococo!!!

Jonothan Huettner 1964.5-1970, 2005-2014.....those are the real Mustangs. 2015 forward something different but still cool. Everything else, let’s just pretend those weren’t called Mustangs.

@@Jedi391 the only reason. I like smurf, is because thatdudeinblue is a cool dude in blue. The body is ugly, the dash is ugly. My brother in-law has a 06, I hate it. The new edge 99's are better than 05 to 14. Even if the power increased every model. I'll even drive a 98 v6. It's a reliable and easy beginner project car. But that's my opinion and I appreciate yours. Even if I don't like it.
@Jedi3915 жыл бұрын
Jonothan Huettner As you said everyone has their own opinion. Every succeeding generation is undeniably a better car from a technical point of view, faster, better handling, and even interior quality. Then there are those intangibles that turn purely on personal preference, for me nothing looks better or sounds better then a properly done 05-09 (accept for the sound of a GT350). For you it sounds like the new edge and that’s okay.
@muddbox33225 жыл бұрын
@@Jedi391 dude in blue asked what we thought.. you're not David. Everything after 98 are ugly and don't make me wanna buy them. I was thinking finally a decent looking mustang with the 18s. Also I don't care about handling, a GT badge or technology. Exhaust Sound ,style and Bluetooth is simply all you need.

I like the 05-09, but I'd have to get a GT500. Still really cool you can just drop in the 5.0 from the truck, and hit the road with minimal fitment issues.

I was going to do this swap to my 07 3v but unfortunately it got totalled back in October so I ended up getting a 2011 5.0 the 3v was a solid engine sounded good but the coyote engine is just superior
