To me it says a lot that TK chose to fire him, and talk publicly about it, right before these shows. TK has bent backwards to keep quiet and keep Punk. For me that says that whatever events actually happened had to be bad. Think of how harmful making the move is to the company. Harms two Chicago shows, may tank a PPV, and risks a show that was built for him to anchor it. That says a lot about whatever happened to me but I doubt we will ever truly know. It’s funny with him. When he was trying the mma ufc thing, dude was incredibly humble. He had nothing but good things to say about trainers. Opponents. The sport in general. They are out there making comments about Punk going to WWE and cutting promos on the Elite and Aew. This is one of the saddest true stories about a talent who had such good will with fans for years.
