12:40 Exactly. It's always the silent rook move, or the Knight's backwards move, or the move involving our good friend the Bishop, or the legendary b pawn move. Always. If you're looking for a move just think which of these you could play. It's sort of a hack because its always one of these moves. All the time.
@guptayush1799 күн бұрын
Of course I won't mention the specific moves, i.e. the initial and final position of pieces or the tactical role the 2 square b pawn push move played apart from being a generic move on the path to promotion and I won't mention or cover the games where the aforementioned set of vaguely described moves caused a loss or a poor position and I won't mention their genius at all if they appear as normal moves, not because it would be beyond my sheer capacity to account for all the instances within the framework I purport to have created using my deep instinctual unexplainable understanding of the game or beyond my hubris to disregard or diminish their genius for when they didn't work, but because doing so would make me do the work for my audience which I can't do because I only want the best from my audience.

I'm pretty sure white's king at the end there could've just headed off blacks passed pawn, which would've also shielded it from attacks by the rook. Then white would have his queen on a completely open board endlessly harassing the black king and forking the rook and remaining pawns with relative impunity.
