Twiggy’s entrance into the world of modeling actually came by accident, and she was never quite sure what the public saw in her. The young star had aspired to be a model from a young age due to her fondness for fashion, though she wasn’t entirely comfortable in her own skin. At the age of 16, she went to a notable London hairdresser to get a pixie cut, and this hairdresser took a snapshot of her hairdo and hung up it on the wall of his salon. This snapshot ended up catching the attention of the editor of The Daily Express.

She is fantastic. I tried to get the clothes she wore. If I couldn’t buy them, I made them. The dress with the belt on the hip, I STILL HAVE IT!!! It is orange and off white.
