Isn’t it crazy how your abilities changes over time and age? I used to be so consistent in the gym but I’ve definitely fallen off. Love this reminder to be patient and get back into the groove of things 💛

I feel like my ligaments are so loose since having kids! So structural, it is so much harder for my body to lift heavy weights … or even do things like pirouettes 😅

Ahah I started at the gym yesterday. The personal trainer came and controlled if I fainted or not. I was just catching my breath 😭💪 How's your vacation been going? I'm studying general surgery for my exam at the end of May I really was waiting for you to show up.. Loyal follower here ♥️

How long have you been training? Since your med school? Now that's consistency! I actually like Tonal for this. Anytime I'm struggling and don't move or hands shake too much, it turns down the weight. I'm always worried about injuries.

I stopped for several years after being pregnant with Wyatt and London. I think it just got back to squatting for maybe a year? But not heavy. I really do miss cable weight exercises!

@@drjennale Tonal has a barbell too. For some reason, it feels heavier than free weights. There are different modes, one of which makes it heavier as you lower the bar. I just follow programs and don't know much about the different modes. But it's challenging for sure.

Be careful without a spotter. You look buffeded and in shape, though. Having had a back injury, just be careful. There was a period I was maxing out on naprosyn and tylenol to be able to walk. Ended up having to take prednisone taper to calm the nerves down a bit. Luckily didn't have to go in for injection. Probably should have.

Im ok! 😳 how did you injure your back? I probably won’t have a spotter unless I go back to a gym. And that’s if I ever decide to do that. I did get a belt. And I’ll probably just be doing less weight for reps if 8-10 now before going up.
