Keith,as someone who has been cooking longer than you are alive,my suggestion it to taste things before using them to make your dinner.Anything called all purpose seasoning is going to be salty,it’s for a little sprinkle on your food.When making something like that curry chicken, put a piece in a pan , cook it, then try it,you can then adjust the amount of curry powder,as far as the jerk is concerned,dust a piece of chicken with it,and cook,taste,and see if you like it.When chef develop recipes there is a lot of tasting going on.Good luck my friends,love your videos.😊

Absolutely. I constantly taste n refine if necessary with everything I make. There's a man called Danny with a channel called Rate My Takeaway n he always pours curry sauce n gravy etc onto his food without tasting it first n he even said the other day "beautiful curry sauce on my chips" How does he know it's beautiful if he hasn't bloody tried it. It could be too salty or hot. Very annoying 😂

I use these seasonings regularly, and I would suggest not to use yogurt with them. I use the jerk by adding the powder with some oil over the chicken and peppers and onions only and the other also don’t use yogurt. The yogurt and the coconut milk will dampen the seasoning.

Just a suggestion! Perhaps try marinading the chicken in the Greek yogurt overnight, then skewer the chicken & veg. Spray lightly each skewer with oil and then sprinkle the flavouring powder over each skewer just before cooking! That should intense the flavour when you eat them. 👍🫶

No Tip for that deliveryman's attitude. He can get Skewed! Great skewers. Overnight marinating is definitely better for flavour and texture. Next time you decide to skew, mix up a Tandoori chicken, lamb and paneer cheese combo. Cheers Keith and Nat 👍🤤😀

If you dont like using lemon, use lime instead. I think more spice, less yogurt would make things tastier, but apart from that it looks interesting.

Jerk needs a dry rub and a wet jerk marinade to baste, the jerk seasoning on it's own isn't spicy enough

When using these kinds of seasonings they are used for cooking foods which are cooked for nearly a hour and not used with the yogurt they make have reacted to what you used ,with them they are good seasonings which have been used for many years and used the right way they make delicious foods ,sorry your experience was not a good one however .would of been if used differently, its in the taste ,and your skewers looked so so yummy ,❤❤

They looked absolutely fab, mate. Especially the skewers with the courgette, very colourful 👍. I think the trouble is that you add yogurt or coconut milk to curry, to calm it down and smooth out the flavour. That much yogurt and coconut will have diluted the flavour of the seasonings. Ya lives and learns Keith, onwards and upwards🚀🚀🚀

I had encona mango chilli sauce last night thinking oh it's only 1 heat rating. Silly me how wrong I was bathroom this morning heaving and coughing stomach acid up from my throat. Never again I've increased my Omeprazole to 40 mg a day it scared the life out my partner 😢

Blood y hell Dazza. I also get acid reflux and it's frightening not being able to breathe for ten long seconds and the pain sometimes is awful. My Son also gets it way worse than me n he has to have an operation soon to try n sort it out. Be careful bud. I find that ice cold milk sorts it out instantly but I might get some Omeprazole off my Dr soon to keep near my bed n use as n when required. The first few times I woke up with it my better half absolutely shit herself thinking I was dying 😂. Anyway take care of yourself bud n watch the acidic stuff. 😊
