Haven't seen anyone post this: which costs less overall to fit? The hellcat has higher priced mods than t65 but you don't have to buy the plan for each armor part. Curious if they equal out to the same bullion grind.

its nearly the same.T65 the armor alone costs 6900 gold bullion. calibrated shocks and emergency protokols 750 each optimized bracers 100 helmet is free. so 8500. + 2k if you want optional jetpack. Hellcat is 3k Calibrated shocks 2k protokols targeting hud 3k and optimized bracers 200 8200 +3k jetpack if you want. so nearly the same

I read that the 2% reduction is on the helmet, but the “prevents damage and disease” script bugs it out, so it won’t show

There are a few vids around that show the 10% ballistic damage adds more than the static ballistic of the T65. It’s not much actually, only a few hp per hit than T65

its about 10% better^^ because you allready have alot of PA armor reduction of 42% and ontop you get 10% for ballistic in hellcat. and 10% more of a base of 42% is around 25% more what makes it extremly op. sure you loose on energy but we have this nice healing anf fusion core recharging legendary perk electric absorb that makes energy weapons even helpfull then damaging^^ and a full set overeaters of this baby will make you god mode even if you are afk^^

After days on testing in PTS i stick with the hellcat. Better dmg reduction against ballistic then the t 65 because of the 10% legendary boni and ballistic is the most common weapon ingame. Energie is god mode because of legendary perk. and rad is still not needed on PA. Ah yea and i got 5k bullion so allready bought emergency protokols and kalibratet shocks. so why not. its just BETTER overall. now it must be just going to be overeaters on all 5 parts.

I've started adding legendary effects to it, so far 3/5 Bolstering...liking it so far.

useless dont use bolstering at all not even on normal armor. even if ALL 5 PA parts have Bolstering its only 175. Makes nearly no difference. Overeater gives you 30% strait to everything. Its like a free dodgy perk. thats multiplikative.

What mods do you have on the t65? That's probably why you have bigger numbers on it compared to the hellcat with no mods.

No. The hellcat does not have that much raw armor then the t 65. But it does not matter. The fact 10% far better then the 100+ armor the t65 got more. (diminishing return on armor value) only ballistic but energy is easy to handle with electric absorb and mele easy to handle with blocker. emergency protokols, nerd rage, dodgy, richochet overeaters you are going strait to 90% dmg reduction no problem.if there is only 1 laser enemy around he will heal you forever more than 6 50.cal gutsys can dmg you.

the hellcat is better. You get less ballistic damage. and thats the only damage someone must care of. BEST Power Armor ingame so far.

many things boost armor rating. but it does not matter. because of diminishing return on armor values (the more armor you have the less dmg reduction you get for the same amouth of additional armor) sclay skin gives armor, legendary modifiers can give you some. also nerd rage im on 670 without Legendary Power armor in t 65. with scaly skin and nerd rage. with bulled shield you can go over 700 without legendary stuff. but without i dont see it.

@@Slybby scaly skin,need rage,body guard, radical,and grounded. My armor value was over 700 before this recent update but when it came out they nerfed all power armor rating by 75 to 100 points. On a full squad I would be around 765 to 767 armor rating but after the update on a full team before I could only get it around to 687. When I get my full set of bolstering I'll be over 800 in both energy and ballistic

@@Slybby I've spend months to near a year planning out this build and seeing what I can get to work with it. If they didn't drop mutants down to 25% id be rocking that instead of bolstering. With a full set of mutants if it still had 50% that would be a 250% upgrade putting me near 900 in both balistical and energy resistance.

you only show stats, it might of been better if you actualy see what damage it does to the PA, as others showed the hellcatt is better for PVE, t65 for pvp. the ballistic damage reduce is better and you can get energy resist mods.....

@@thecommiehunter1149 t51b got 454 ballistic and energie. t65 565 / 470. hellcat still got (with its inbuild legendary boni) better ballistic resistance. t51b is nice if you are new. but if you still own a t65 its just for some kind of collection. the nuka cola paint is very nice to be fair.

Hellcat is better. Most PA builds run with electric absorption. The energy resistance is meaningless from T65 due to that. I can go afk in a silo while being attacked by multiple energy turrets and not die because of electric absorption healing and I only have 2 star.

Hellcat is better than t65. WHY? Diminishing return on Armor. It does not matter if you have 500 or 600 its makes a difference of about >1% but you get 10% in Hellcat. "but its only Ballistic" sure but Electrik absorb is perhaps the most must have Legendary Perk for PA users anyway so you heal more than every energy dmg will dmg you. even imposter cant kill you with his laser. Mele damage is easy to avoid and you can still use blocker in PA. And rad is just yea useless anyway in PA. Im going with this one and can tank imposter without any problems. (i could before but its even less damage now) allready with kallibratet shocks and emergency protokols.

Hellcat is extremely undervalued by the community and friends of mine. Nobody wants to admit a PA you get for free by questing is better than T65 they had to spend that gold on.

The frame is free yea. but the frame without mods is shit. every mod is so much more expensive than on the t65. If you want more than 1 mod per slot the hellcat is even more expensive than the t65. the helmet mod for glowing enemys cost 2000 gold on the hellcat. But anyways people like to use the Excavator as a Tank Armor because they are to dump to organize there inventory to save 100 pound. So this community is lost.

@@Slybby You literally just "need" calibrated shocks and maybe emergency protocols. You can get the jetpack but thats up to you. Hellcat provides you with a very tanky endgame PA that is instantly accessible without having to grind out bullion for weeks just to get the armor. T65 will cost you nearly 7k bullion just to get started.. or 2.5 weeks. With or without mods or legendary hellcat is better and cheaper to get endgame ready. In my case 3k bullion and I was fine without calibrated shocks until I got it. I only needed to buy calibrated stocks. I dont run a bloody build but do take advantage of radicool and frequently sit at 30% to 50% hp due to rads. I can do all content in the game including face tanking imposter sheepsquatch and solo sbq faster than I have seen multiple randoms do it. Piercing on daily op also 0 issue between hellcat and overeaters. No emergency protocols needed.

@@TV-xv1le got both by now fully with overeater and other random stuff like ap and poison resist on both sets. like the hellcat more because of its 12% added boni. fully bloody build. no idea when i last died if im in PA. And because of "accessable" i think then T51 is even "better" because you can have it nearly for free every time. In a Ranking i would rank it at Rank 4 after Hellcat, T65 and Strangler. In my eyes every Armor with Mods is better than a new one without. That in mind i would never take a new armor befor its finished. And because of that i can only compare finished the finished PA. And for costs that would be: T65: 6900 Pa + 1600 Mods.(8500) Helmet mods are free so you can choose. Hellcat: 0 PA + 8200 Mods. Mods are: calibrated shocks, emergency protocols, targeting hud and the 200 for less ap costs with heavy mele attacks for arms are just because they only cost 200^^. and a difference of 300 (or 500) is just nothing to care about at all^^. Hellcat looks cool but has not a single own paintshop (that keeps the look) thats the biggest downside in my eyes.
