kelly’s upper belts have always been great but now they are A WHOLE OTHER LEVEL OF PERFECTION, no one comes close! btw that demi clip in “for you” is INSANE, like how????

When it comes to Mariah it’s really vocal abilities galore to choose from besides whistles 😂 I feel like one of the most expressive things is her display of emotions when singing. Honorable mentions are lows, tone, resonance, agility/runs/melismatic singing, transitions, whispery/airy falsetto, breath control, and having a huge range that she can access from top to bottom and in different ways. And probably more things I’m forgetting. 😂 she’s the #GOAT and don’t come for me I really don’t care.

I would say for Mariah, its her agility but Whistle Register is a close second honestly! & for Kelly I would honestly say Vocal Distortion being able to growl & bring gritt all the way up to G#5 / A5 at times consistently but sustained high belts is a good 2nd ❤️❤️ Amazing video!! ❤️❤️

I agree, her range is extraordinary but her agility is what makes her unparalleled. It’s not just riffs and runs, her vocal agility flows through her entire singing and this allows her to traverse that range with unbelievable speed as well as transition in and out of registers effortlessly and seamlessly.

@@ChristopherHernandez-pr8dq, achieving such grades, in itself, means absolutely NOTHING when it comes to VOCAL QUALITY. If only reaching notes were synonymous with vocal par excellence, the Brazilian GEORGIA BROWN would then be considered the best vocalist in history, as she ranges from a very low G#2 to a very high G#9; 2 exact octaves above the highest note ever reached by Mariah Carey, the G7. But in reality, as vocalists, Georgia Brown is a real disaster. But, if what you wanted was to brag because you think Mariah really is unique in terms of her vocal range, I'm sorry to disappoint you, but you're totally wrong. Of the extraordinary singers I mentioned, CÉLINE DION reaches much higher notes (in full voice) than Mariah Carey. The highest note in full voice that Mariah has ever reached was an A5 (A5) in Fly Like a Bird, but she has never performed this same note LIVE. CÉLINE DION has performed this same song countless times, both in the studio and live. And in addition, Céline Dion has performed even higher notes live several times, such as A#5, B5 and even C6, belting and vibrating on top of it. This note is so high that many Sopranos (the highest female voice classification) cannot reach it. And Céline Dion's bass is absurdly deep and full, which many contraltos (the lowest female voice classification) can't even dream of achieving, like A2. The only recording in which Mariah Carey was higher pitched than Céline Dion was in the whistle. But AMAZING: Céline Dion also performs this register... On an interview program, live, sitting, talking to the audience and making a sarcasm face, she emitted an Eb7 (D7), which is within the same octave as Mariah Carey recorded her highest note. So, my dear, I think it's good for you to take another look at the ending that matches, you see, because, in the true ending, in addition to there being women who go much further than Mariah, there are others, the same ones I mentioned, who perform much more extreme full notes and whistle registers with practically the same tonality. 🙅🏻😉
