What makes Cody such a great babyface and has myself a grown ass 34 year old man acting like an 14 year old is that Cody feels relatable. He has a quality that makes you like him the more you know him. I followed his career for over 10 years and over time my respect for the man has grown. I know many Cody fans myself. I seen him in person as well and I can tell you Cody is the real deal. He is the guy that stays after the show and just talk with people and not just about wrestling. He asks how you doing, where you from, how was travel, etc. I remember asking him something about Zelda cause he said something I didnt agree with (saying Zelda OoT was his fave mine is Link to the Past) and we ended up talking about memories growing playing games. He told me a story about how Dusty got him Ocarina of Time as a kid and how much time he put on the game and hows his favorite game of all time. We also talked about 16bit games as well. My interaction with him online and offline since that day has been great. A couple years later when he was on AEW I saw him again and I asked him if OoT was still his favorite and his eyes lit up and said yep is Link to the Past still yours and I couldnt believe he still remembered me after years have passed. Cody again is the real deal. #WeWantCody

I feel for the caller that traveled to see Cody. I went to every AEW PPV for 3 years because what the product gave to me. It brought my interest back in the wrestling product. It started with the Dynamite before the Exploding Death match PPV. This was during the covid restrictions. I had only planned to be in Jacksonville for a few days, and the product made me care so much that I literally flew home, bought tickets to the PPV, worked, and flew back to Jacksonville to catch it. People shit on that match, but the lead up until the "explosion" was amazing. Needless to say, I can also thank Cody for being apart of the movement that lead to AEW. I don't follow the WWE product, but I am happy he has all this love and support for him.

The passion is crazy deep. His fans are passionate. I have a friend, kid is 20 years old. Works hard for his money and has the biggest and best Cody collection I’ve ever seen. He traveled for both rumbles (from Georgia), Summerslam, we linked up in Dallas for mania, came out here for mania last year and plans on going this year to see the story finished. The passion for these fans runs deep. I love the rock but Cody and his diehards have my support on this one.

I’m not even generally a Cody fan. At least nowadays. I was a huge fan of his Undashing gimmick. I’m a huge Punk fan, I was rooting for Punk to win the Rumble. Punk coming back these last couple years has saved my love for Wrestling. So him getting injured was a huge kick in the nuts for me. Then I had Cody to root for because I really want them to create new stars and stop relying on nostalgia for Wrestlemania season, or at least use it to create new stars. So that segment on Smackdown with The Rock was a double kick in the nuts. I didn’t have anything to look forward to…but…after lastnight and the way they booked the show and planted Cody signs in the crowd…I would be surprised if they didn’t make him vs Roman happen still at mania, and they may have been working us the whole time to make him an even bigger star and make the story even bigger. They’d be smart to make The Rock a guest referee, they’d be stupid to make it a triple threat. They’d be even dumber to keep Cody out of the match. Either way though I’m at the point where it’s going to be entertaining. Either Cody gets his moment or they embarrass the company on the biggest stage of the year by screwing Cody. Listening to this Feller talk about the drive. How much Cody touched him. I might have thought was Bullshit until Wrestlemania 38 Night 1 Through a series of unfortunate events in my life. I was watching Wrestlemania with a dark cloud over me. I was at my most dark. I knew after Mania that night I was going to go for a walk and I was going to _____ myself. I was very miserable and very dark. And then. "dundun" Wrestling has more than one Royal Family. I jumped up to me feet shouting like a child. With a tear in my eye. In that moment I was so happy. The first smile on my face in Weeks. As corny as it sounds Cody gave me the will to live again. It's crazy how people we'll prolly never meet can mean so much to us. So yeah. That's why I love Cody.

Its weird, WWE made the rules and said whomever wind the Royal Rumble gets to challenge for the Championship. Back then it was easy because there was only one, but we had two championships in previous years prior and the winner was suppose to pick a champion to challenge as the scenario that we have right now. The fact that they are taking away that choice is pretty BS. It would make sense if Cody Rhodes willingly chose Seth, but it wasnt like that at all. The ending of the Rumble had him pointing out to Roman Reigns. Thats just crazy

My issue with this is. I'm a rock fan, I'm mad at how he did this. He could have at least won the Royal Rumble & Earned that. Also WWE wanted him at Wrestlemania 39 but he committed then pulled out last minute in December 2022. Now he just muscled his way into this using his power. & for people saying wwe been wanting this. They wanted this at Wrestlemania 38 then decided 39 would be better. Rock pulled out because he wasn't going to win. They wanted Roman to go over. & if it They wanted him for this year. Why didn't they plan for him to win the 2024 Royal Rumble?

He maybe should have came out and said all the shit he said to Roman, and then said... It's extremely important to me, to reclaim that title for my family.. I NEED to validate my family.. People can hear this and say "oh that guy has issues" or "that guy is crazy for doing that", but thing is this is exactly how things where back in the 70's and 80's, this is what Dusty went through during his rivalries and he knew how fans felt, and fans had to see their childhood hero be destroyed by the politics of the WWF, and Vince McMahon. Cody is probably being told not to worry, that they know what they are doing and he will get his chance at Roman and what not, but again we've been here before, we've seen countless superstars be deceived the same way by this company, and how they just shift their focus on a whim. And let's not forget, Cody didn't come back to the WWE just let politics sideline him again like they did 10 years ago.

Calling my shot. You fix this by having Cody vs Roman at Chamber - Cody wins. Cody then faces Seth and wins at WM40 - unifies the title (or puts the World Championship up in a tournament after WM40 like the Warrior did after WM6) and finishes the story. Rock vs Roman for head of the table at WM40. Rock stops the Bloodline from saving Roman at chamber. WWE saves face. Cody finishes the story, becomes a GREATER champion than Roman, thus taking everything (being the best) from him.
