You mentioned TLC memory. Do they guarantee you will get TLC memory or will they supply whatever they can get their hands on? (like the Kingston NV2 and possibly NV3). For a TLC drive the price seems fair, but if they might give you a QLC one, it is possibly not the best deal.
@GalaxyTechReview4 ай бұрын
as far as I know there are only sourcing TLC as stated.

This is better than s770. I have both and S880 temps are way lower and performs better than S770. Just do not know on endurance. I have them for a year now and no issues so far.

I guess the DRAM cache on s770 doesn't matter that much

Question: I have 3 m.2 slots One has windows installed another has this fanxiang 1tb installed But the 3rd m.2 is only a x2 lanes slot, would I be better off using a pcie x16 slot adapter to m.2 than the dedicated m.2 that only has 2 lanes? I've got a feeling it would run at full speed that way but only half speed in the m.2 slot. Thanks in advance cheers

I got the same one but 2TB and my Read speeds are 3425.97MB/s Write 3388.25MB/s but i bought one that suppose to be 7300MB/s i am confused on why its slower
@GalaxyTechReview22 күн бұрын
Sounds like you are using it in a m.2 gen 3 slot instead of a gen 4.0 slot... "For M.2 GEN 3, averages are between 2500-3500 read/write and for M.2 Gen 4 the average range is 7000 read/write." So that's what I am thinking.

This one works great and the speeds are fire. So yes I would reccomend it because you get performance at a great price. Also a 5 year warranty!
@BoraHorzaGobuchul9 ай бұрын
@@GalaxyTechReview no free lunch. If you're so sure about it, set it up for a burnout test and we'll see how long it lasts. You can make an SSD cheaper in only a few ways, and all of them will impact performance, longevity, or both. Cheaper controller, cheaper/binned nand chips. And good luck trying to have a Chinese co honor the warranty :)
