Thank you. I have considered many options including buying our competitor's bat houses and tearing them apart on video for comparison, but, no, that's just not my style. We'll keep building the best bat house we can and make them for the bats.

Great to see your videos again! I would like to get a bat house but I have a concern. My neighbors regularly use their fire pit and the bat house location would have to be near it. Is this too unhealthy for bats?

Thank you for your comment! So long as the smoke is not going directly up into the bat house, it should not be a problem (i.e. it is not directly over the fire). I suggest moving it at least 30 feet away from where the fire will be, more if possible. So long as it is a normal outdoor fire (not a huge bonfire) and they are burning wood and not plastics or anything producing toxic fumes, it should be fine. Thanks for loving bats!
