It just wouldn't be a Monday without a new video from the CJ crew. Let me start by saying your confidence on the road while transporting the load to the plant is nothing short of impressive. There are plenty of "experienced" that aren't that secure. Speaking of security good job blurring out anything that might expose where you are. Plenty of crazies out there you want to avoid. Girls, I've said it before but I just can't get over how proud your parents must be of you and your siblings. The world needs more just like you. Enjoy your week and can't wait to see what you're up to next. And for anyone reading this, if you haven't hit that subscribe button yet please do and send it to your friends. This channel needs to blow up as they say
@CJfarmGritАй бұрын
Wow! Thanks so much! You made our day! And you have no idea how much Dad & Mom appreciate the “security” mention in your note! That’s been the time-consuming part of preparing videos, but can’t be overlooked for the very reason you stated. Also, all these kind comments from loyal followers have helped our channel in the algorithm! Thanks much!!

Great job driving! My grandfather owned an excavation company and while I grew up near farms, my childhood was spent running dozers and excavators and I was 8 when I learned to drive this old Mack truck we used in our pit to move materials around with and it was geared so low that you could take off with a full load by just pulling it into gear 😂 that truck was a beast! I never could shift worth a damn with the clutch either, I learned to always leave my engine brake on and let that kick in for a second when up shifting and I learned to use my left foot to run the brakes leaving my right foot hovering above the throttle when the engine brake was on ready to blip the throttle and drop down a gear. But what works for me might not work for everyone, it’s nice seeing young people doing things like this, reminds me of my childhood and I’m “only” 39, lol

Hi, I love seeing you kids are having fun and have you ever done use the clutch when you driving just a double clutch if you do that, you are a real truck driver nice to motor vehicles. You have to know how to double clutch without making the noise of grinding the gears well I’m gonna say a couple when they getting ready to buy another truck might be in automatic truck and you will like it a lot better when my work give me automatic truck. I was happy no more shifting just like a vacation in there, you don’t you use a Jake break on the truck are use it all the time you don’t burn off the bricks Drive careful on the road take care of yourself and have fun
@CJfarmGritАй бұрын
thanks! Your greetings always bring a smile! Yes, Dad only knew how to drive semi, initially, by double clutching. But floating the gears is a specialty! 😀 Your comment of “just like a vacation in there” in regard to driving automatic semi is so funny!! Good morning, good afternoon or good evening Family, as always today's class was cool and showed that the blonde sister is a professional in driving trucks because it has gears and a clutch and not an automatic, because few people in the US know how to drive cars with gears and a clutch. Don't forget my request for you to make a video explaining the irrigation system of the plantations because it must be complex, from collecting water from the river or dam with a pump and piping. It was funny that you played with the music at the end and it seemed to be by the band Queen.

I had the same issue like you did to learn shifting when I went to a truck driving school only they were having you double clutch every time you shifted. Then one day it just clicked in my head and got it down. And now i can float shift without any issues while driving One word of advise is you don't need to look down at the speedometer or tach every time when starting out from a stop You will get the feel of it and the sound the truck makes at it's happy point while shifting I used to haul asphalt oil and when the trailer was empty I started out in 4th gear then buttoned up (high range) to shift to 5th and continue the rest of the way shifting normally. Nice to see a very nice young lady driving out there.

Hi, my very first time on your site,but you was saying about grinding gears ,has nobody mentioned that you can do double clutch first out of gear then back on clutch into gear and it will help ,I have a HGV class 1 ,once your on the road that’s it ,keep on trucking,Derek I’m in central United Kingdom,Derbyshire.

I’m an Aussie truck driver doing what y’all call OTR (we just call it either interstate or long distance) and I drive a 3 trailer combination…… a road train. I’ve been at it for about 45 - 46 years, so have just a modicum of experience. Other than the fact I’ve been doing it a while, there’s nothing special about me. Lemme just say that EVERYONE, regardless of how good they are, or how experienced, occasionally “clips a gear”, or grinds one, so don’t let it bother you unless it’s every other gear, every other minute!!!!! 😂😂😂😂 You present as being very confident, which is no surprise to me being that you’re a farm girl. If I could make one very minor suggestion, though, it would be that don’t grab the inside of the wheel when you’re doing sharp turns, coz one day some idiot will canon into a steer tyre, or you will hit a thumping great pothole ….or a rock or something else will make that steering wheel “kick back”. If that ever does happen, you will be lucky to get away with a compound fracture of that arm (bone sticking out through the skin type bad). It doesn’t happen often, but once will be more than enough. Years ago a mate of mine was turning just like you do, hit a rock and did major damage to his arm. Try “palming the wheel” when you’ve gotta go hard lock like that as it keeps your hand, arm, fingers etc out of harms way of the spokes. I can show you what palming the wheel is, but not sure I can describe it!!!!! That would be the only (very minor) constructive criticism I would make. If you were my daughter, I would be well proud of your progress…..especially in such a short time. Kindest regards Indy
