It's not corrosion, I replaced the bulbs. The lights work but they are still flickering in hyper mode. What could it be? I pull out my high beams and left them empty and also it's missing a fog light but that never affected the vehicle before.

Nice one! 2015 Ram 1500, Left side, FT rapid blink, rear nothing, does have tail lamp but no turn, hazard or brake. Right side has no problems.

Awesome video thank you for this! I have a front turn signal and I clearly see it got power the bulb is on but reading that there’s no light bulb or bad bulb which hyper flash. Help please... FYI before this there was a bad bulb it was on and off changed it fixed it drove for 30mins and started to hyper flash again. (Oem light bulb)Thank you!

Also you can use the continuity mode on the multimeter (The mode that gives an audible sound when the two prongs are connected together.) To test a fuse.

Hey, so I have a 1995 Suzuki Sidekick that I got from a guy for $400 and had to change the headlight housing because all of the reflective surface was gone, so since then, the right front turn signal doesn't work properly with the headlights on. It blinks, but it is so faint that it might as well not be working. That light also burns brighter than the left when it's just on and not blinking and with no headlights on the right side blinks rapidly, but both the front and rear bulbs are working! Any thought of what I should be looking for? By the way, I am a big fan of 1A Auto videos and parts! Thanks for helping us that like to tinker with our own vehicles!

My van's right indicators work perfectly but the left clicks real fast and the globes don't flash at all. I have checked the globes and they are fine. So according to your video it sounds like it may be the multi function switch. You didn't guve any detail on this besides it needing to be replaced. Does this require a professional? Can my multifunction switch on 1999 Chevrolet Silverado cause the REAR right turn signal and left brake light to both flash along with the left turn signal when left signal is turned on . Thank you for responding, I did receive a part number 38200snaa34 box assy fuse. I was told it could be the interior fuse box but I check all the fuses and front, rear, and directional signals but nothing is blown. Is there a hazard/turn signal relay on a 2008 Honda Civic? Thank you

Same issue with mine! Lights work but still hyper flash oem light bulbs. Update: light bulb was good connectors are good just needed to use some of that electric grease and it’s now good to go.

I have flashing dashboard problem when I use turn signal lamp during driving. The dashboard light including all the panel lights will flashes so brightly then dim then back to normal.this happen not always, just sometimes especially when using half turn signal (blinking 3 times). What about a situation where the left side blinker in a 2016 hyundai elantra stays lit and doesnt flash at all? Was doing a delivery with a friend and put my hazards on temporarily while he brought the item to the customers door and when he got back i turned the hazards off but the left front blinker remained lit. The left blinker in my mom's 1998 Hyundai Elantra blinked too fast, and the front and back bulbs blinked at the same speed, so I can conclude that the problem wasn't with the bulbs. Apparently, the problem was with either the fuse or the blinking mechanism

My problem is that I have a 2005 nissan altima, and my right rear blinker is out, I changed the bulb and socket and it's still not working. My fuse diagram does not specify which fuse controls the turn signal. All my other turn signal lights work, my right front blinkers flashes fast. It's just my right rear blinkers won't flash at all

Ok I have a question, i installed a new multifuncal switch today because once in a while my left blinker would blink really fast when braking and then settle down. Same happens to the left but not as bad. But here is the big kicker, when I go to underground parking (dull lights) my blinkers stop working. But when I go back to driving in the daylight, they start to work again.. SO to sum it up - blinkers go fast and slow when braking and blinkers stop working in underground. any explanation for something like this? My vehicle is a dicontinued 2000 Oldsmobile Silhouette

Thank you for the informative film. I also had a problem w/T Signals stopped working I found it!! And what it was, I removed the headliner board for re[placing the upholstery on it, and disconnected the wire to the ceiling lens. The shop manual (I fortunately have for that car 2001 Saturn SL2) advised to attach those wires w/scotch tape, so I disconnected it fm/the plug by the rear window. The plug was sitting on a thin plate, which I assumed was there for keeping the plug in correct place. After I did some research I've learned that grounding could cause Turning Signals go off. The Manual showed 2 grounding wires on the rear close to that plug. There was a clip on the plug, metal one. I disconnected the grounding there, so even w/plug in the T S-ls didn't work of course. It might be helpful for someone else. Pls check the grounding as well if you have a problem w/T Signals and the fuse is fine. I was about to replace the Steering Column Switch, and actually ordered one already (so will have a spare now, not bad thing though).

What vehicle is it? Just wondering because I have the same problem. All lights work as expected, except the left turn signal, it in many cases goes into hyper flash. Once in a great while, it flashes at normal speed. I always thought that meant the direction on that side on opposite end of vehicle was bad.

Hey guys quick question, my son has a 96 gmc 1500 and had a drivers side rear turn signal/brake light issue. Fuse, relay good, etc. i ended up replacing the panel board, bulbs, and plug. I tested the plug and getting power to the back plug but when I plug it in nothing, i tested the prong without bulb with plugged in and it’s getting power. But with bulb in only time it works is if I squeeze the plug into the panel board. Soon as I let slight pressure off plug it doesn’t work. Not sure if I just need to find OEM plug and panel or what. It’s starting to piss me off. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

I've got rapid blinking on all four directionals, back and front, and the click is clearly audible. That would seem to indicate, based on this video, that the relay is okay. Everything else in terms of electricity flow checks out. That leaves the multi-switch on the steering column since it's the only switch that controls all four blinkers. Any thoughts on that based on the past experience? Thanks.

Its been five months since you posted but in your case it sounds like there is either too much resistance or not enough voltage. Was your battery undercharged? have you checked the condition of the wires leading to the relay & fuse? If you've already found the solution, id like to hear what was wrong 🙂
