Every time I learn something new. Many people unfortunately don’t have the awareness the about Narcissistic abuse post- traumatic growth. I hope and pray PDS becomes such a big place for all to heal. We all love you so dearly for everything you do to change people’s lives. My heart overflows with excess love and respect for you every time you teach us and help us heal. May God bless you abundantly in all areas of life💗

“You’re lucky I’m here” is something I’m told a lot and it stings my soul to its core! It makes me so angry! But this person is an addiction and I want to leave but I know if I do it will hurt so bad bc apart of me doesn’t want to, I just want how he used to be… I need to get out bc I’m tired of feeling so angry and empty.. I don’t know what to do how to start.. I’m trying to slowly just cut him off, not trying to fixate on him as much but like you said that gives me anxiety if I don’t other wise bc I’m scared of “getting in trouble”

Jesus that's harsh. The struggle is indeed real, but you deserve better and you need to protect yourself... I know first hand that it's easier to say than to do, but trust me when I say that these people will leave you broken once they're done with you. You're awesome and immensely brave for sharing your story - take heart in that and move forward in your life

Thank you so much for this Thais. Everything you said was really on point. I think the hardest thing that I'm trying to come to terms with now is trying to figure out how much of her emotional terrorism was actually intentional or subconscious maladaptive patterns. Towards the end, I know all of that was absolutely intentional. She effectively ruined my life as I knew it and I'm not feeling like the shell that I was, thanks to all of this literally life saving information that you provide. I really can't thank you enough. My heart containers are overflowing with Love for you and your team, thank you!

“What could have been “is why I’m considering going back to a FwB from a DA, don’t think narcissistic but manipulative and immature .. I still am not getting in my head he’s only interested in a physical thing whereas I’m wondering how to build a friendship if we meet up 🤦🏻‍♀️

I'm confused what she means at 9:05 by "take the top ones out" - we list the most important needs, rank them 1-10, and then take out the top, e.g. 3, and work on meeting the other 7 by ourselves? Or take our 8,9, and 10 and work on meeting the most important seven by ourselves? To me, it doesn't make sense to not meet our most important needs.
