8:38 I can relate to this as I went through almost the exact journey you’re talking about, I unfortunately had to learn the hard way about losing the weight through self hatred and disgust, as in my teens I went from 260 something to 155 as my lowest at 6’1, and it got to the point where people were vocalizing their concern about my health. I have distinct memories of looking in the mirror and punching my own stomach to the point of bruising just out of pure self hatred. And of course, inevitably when you transform like that it doesn’t last forever and I ballooned back up to 281 at my heaviest ever. As much as that part of my life saddens me though, I wouldn’t trade it for anything as it’s my journey, and was a catalyst for me to eventually approach my weight loss in a much more measured, thoughtful, and sustainable way. Doing it with consistent exercise and while I won’t lie and say my diet is perfect, I count my calories (without obsessing over it), think about what I’m eating and how it fuels (or doesn’t fuel) my body, and when I do have a day where I overeat or make bad choices, rather than beating myself up (mentally or physically lol) I am developing the skill of giving myself grace and moving onto the next thing. Accepting that I can’t change what’s already happened but I can change what happens right now in each moment. I appreciate your content so much as I hope that other people in a similar position can learn these lessons without having to personally go through them the hard way. Thank you for what you do ❤ And Happy Birthday!!

most people with BED aren't morbidly obese though. BED isn't just over eating, it also consists of periods of severe calorie restriction, fasting for spans of time, over exercising, shame about one's appearance eg; not wanting to be on camera and film yourself eating etc. i have diagnosed BED and i have never been obese in my life, the biggest i got was just over the average size for a 5ft3 female. i feel like a lot of obese/morbidly obese people are starting to use BED as the sole reason they are obese and to garner sympathy and to avoid taking accountability for their behaviour around food. once again actual BED has strong elements of shame within the disordered mindset, i don't even talk about food if i can avoid it. so most people who post 'body positive" bikini photos and openly admit to being comfortable with their weight probably do not have BED bc their way of thinking doesn't fit the criteria of the mental disorder. also not seeking help for BED is not an excuse to stay fat and complain about "fatphobia". i had to force myself to get help for my ED and it has finally paid off to an extent, i am at a healthy weight currently for my height, my binges are rare now. i still have disordered thinking but i am working on it and making progress after many years of struggling. hopefully this doesn't sound sanctimonious.

That's billions and billions worth of modifications first, and then more billions lost in revenue because then the planes fit less passengers per flight. Who's gonna pay for it? Oh and on top that they want other passengers to subsidise their travel by getting free seats and definitely no "pay by weight" tickets.

Funny thing is, that airlines already offer those options. I mean... i would also love to get a seat that fits someone like Jaebaes size. But if i have to chose between more space and a higher price or beeing slightly uncomfortable (1,80 tall, so legspace can be a issue) on a lower price, i would still chose the lower price. I have flown only on 3 travels and everytime my BMI was around 30. So on the edge between overweight snd obese. But never have i spilled into the seats next to me or was in need of an seatbelt extender. So... they already accomodate for OVERWEIGHT/Plussize passengers. Just not for "tripple size" passengers.

Heck, what if every allergy sufferer threw a fit because tissues weren't provided freely everywhere they went? I am not saying her need for accommodation is any less important to her well being than anyone else's, but I am saying she needs to take responsibility for it. Our rights extend only to the point they become a problem for someone else or interfere with their rights - once our needs create an unfair burden for others, we have overstepped. Brittany Sauer admitted to have abused her body with binges just a week before she passed. The channel Mutt Fitness makes content from reddit discussions he reacts to. In one there was someone who claimed to be a healthcare worker at a hospice where they had an inpatient treatment of an annoying person who was an influencer who had difficult to accept that staff may not want to be filmed and also being inconsiderate and rude when staff don't want to assist to turn the person, help to the wheelchair by themselves but that they need to be at least two to avoid to hurt themselves but the influencer as well. The person of course did not identify who it was but I could think JaeBea or FatGirlFlow could be that kind of annoying.

@montananerd8244 I could think of Anna being that intrusive with wanting to film everything but don't know she's been in such poor mobility status she been in strict hospice care.

So basically change the whole world to accommodate your bad choices. Okay got it

I can guarantee she has gone through a lot of bad stuff in her life growing up and is most likely full of pain and sadness. I find most people her size (man or woman) use food as a form of self medication due to some kind of sadness or emotional pain in their life.

@elysemulheron7470Ай бұрын
She doesnt appear to be advocating for healing so much as she is trying to argue that fat people should be included in that issue too. It would make more sense for her to say that EDs come in different forms rather than saying the people who have them come in different sizes and shapes. It's a weird way to put it

what infuriates me is traveling while being a wheelchair user myself... not every airline can physically accommodate wheelchairs in every area or up every ramp, especially in her size or down every plane aisle. The ramps up and down to the plane door just don't always work that way, depending on the airport- some take you straight to the door, some idk how they even stay upright but I'd feel safer just jumping out of the plane and praying. And there's not always enough people available to be pushing the wheelchairs around the airports in the first place- an especially frustrating fact when some of us aren't traveling for fun, but medical procedures, and people DO feel entitled to wheelchairs just for the priority boarding it gives you

i will say about elevators- last year staying in chicago the elevator to my hotel was so tiny that my wheelchair touched all four walls of it 😭 anyways good luck with the move and happy birthday!

The fact any of those men are willing to share her goes more out to their characters than hers. They are either depraved, extreme losers, or idk but those men are not worth even looking at. I would be more jealous over the dude that married a doll rather than this relationship haha

I just see greedy on all levels. Plus keeps her too busy to deal with why she is so big. Focus outside on the rest of society to change. Now loads of lovers to boost esteem. No self awareness. Talks as though she has swallowed self help books, not one original thought.

Hearing you're moving to my state is the most hype thing I've heard all week. 🗣️ You'll fit right in (No pun intended.) but don't be alarmed at how common you'll find yourself in a conversation with someone in public, especially elderly folks.

Not to say all guys in prison are like this but it's common that they latch onto the vulnerable when they are getting out to have a sense of security (place to stay, resources etc). I hope she is being careful.

I always find this groups language around ED interesting They talk about it like its a virus you catch or cancer....its behavior that you chose that got out of control, and you have the ability to move in a different direction if you choose to. You were never a victim of ED
@powderandpaint14Ай бұрын
It's not really a choice of behaviour, in fact it's usually a compulsion that you feel unable to control (for all kinds of eating disorders). It's an unhealthy coping mechanism that becomes an uncontrollable disorder that needs mental health treatment.
@canecorsomom2023Ай бұрын
@powderandpaint14 I disagree. The compulsion doesn't just happen. It doesn't exist in a vacuum. You make choices, and then the uncontrollable compulsion follows. You dont just wake up one day and start purging your food uncontrollably. You had to choose to do that many times over a period of time before it becomes a compulsion (yes, that's personal experience) And I had to come to terms with the choices I made that led to that compulsion before I was able to stop.
@powderandpaint14Ай бұрын
@canecorsomom2023 I also have experience of EDs and I respectfully disagree. But everyone's experience is different.
@BronzedBeastАй бұрын
@@powderandpaint14 I hard disagree. You choose to eat and you can choose to stop. Yes absolutely it's difficult. If I didn't controlyself I would absolutely have BED. I get where you're coming from but at no point do our brains shut off and we graze like cattle. We just don't know how to handle those temptations and some crack
@powderandpaint14Ай бұрын
@BronzedBeast how do you explain people with anorexia not eating to the point of risking death then? The compulsion of the disorder goes past logic or safety.

Okay, my theory on this… is that her fiancé is gay, like we all kind of suspected, and so now she is looking for companionship elsewhere. And she decided to go the “prison boyfriend” route for maximum controversy as well as needing someone to be focused on her 24-7. A lot of these prisoners who seek out these sort of partners are not attracted to the woman at all and just need commissary money. So they’re willing to say or do whatever to keep a woman thinking he’s all about her.

1:45 I've seen some ridiculously tiny elevators (looking at you, hotel i stayed at in london, the elevator was maybe 2 feet wide) but most USAmerican elevators, just going off her accent, are spacious. Huge. Multiple elevators. Stairs are in Timbuktu, everyone is expected to take the elevator. If you cant fit into a standard USA elevator you have bigger fish to bake - don't fry em you don't need the calories! Ik she travels, ADA doesn't exist everywhere and she should know that by now...
