Same! I felt so drained and tired over the summer, barely left the home. Now that it's autumn I feel so alive and productive, I would stay out all day, feeling so comfortable and happy!

Such a valuable video! I don’t often promote books, but the book women’s magic truths on borlest is an exception. It’s packed with insights on wealth and self-care that are not widely known. All the best to everyone

Hi faye, thank you for making this video. A few years back my seasonal depression got so bad to the point it felt like I wasn't in my own body I've always struggled to find ways to overcome this and so this video has really helped thank you ❤❤❤

I moved from a sunny place to a really rainy region, so I feel you! One thing that got me through it was to pick one “cold weather” related project each winter to keep my mind busy and help me feel like my fate is in my own hands haha One winter, I got really into making soups and trying all different types of recipes. The next year I went all in on making my environment really cozy and researching the best bedding, etc. A great thing about it is that the benefit cumulates year over year. I still can make a great soup, and I still have that amazing comforter I invested in. Good luck!

I get hit in Spring instead of autumn, but YES girl! I think autumn has so much to look forward to with the changing colors and holidays, but then once Christmas is over it's 3 months of cold, along with an unchanging brown landscape. It feels like it will last forever. And then once the summer sun starts again I'm fine until next January! I think it's largely the dark mornings, the cold sending my body into threat mode, and the brown vegetation everywhere I look. I've needed some tips to help get through the winter, so thank you!

Thank you for making this video very helpful as a person who gets SAD
@MeditationWithAmber3 ай бұрын
Love this one, Faye! As a meditation teacher, here’s another approachable tip to add to the list - A lot of people know that it’s good to feel our breath when we’re feeling SAD or stressed, but one way to break it down is to just focus on the tip of your nose, that’s it. Just breathe normally and feel the air flowing past the tip of your nose. It’s a small enough area that it doesn’t feel overwhelming and once you’re present with that feeling, it becomes easier to go from there 💛💛

Hi, this is such a good video. I love autumn but really struggle with the change in time and less daylight. I work as a student vet nurse and work from 8am-7pm and really struggle getting up in the morning. I have a dog to take care of - your routine looks really stress free and like you are able to get everything done without rushing. I understand this may be an odd question but waking up at 5am and doing all of your routine how long does it take you? Also would you recommend the sunrise lamp to help with waking up without going back to sleep? Thank you

Hi faye. Currently I'm also suffering from depression. I fall sick very often. From 1.5 years I'm suffering from fever, asthma, hazardous migraine, back pain etc. No medicine works. My health problems get back again after recoving by taking medicines. We have two big exams every year here in our country. I already missed 2 in those 1.5 years. That's why my mom said that she has completely lost hope on me. This anxiety and losing hope has gradually led to depression. Also I have many problems including financial problems and family problems. I wanna die fr 😢. This gets worse in night time specially midnight and late night. Also this is the 4th exam. And I'm miserably sick again. I have board exam coming up in 4 months. Board exams are the biggest exams you give in your high school life here. I just wanna let you know that you're not alone. Take care of yourself ❤

Really good video. As a fellow doctor of 20 years now (my god!) and fellow SADer I spend all day inside when at work as many of us do leaving and coming home in darkness. Even my office window looks out to a brick wall. As soon as October hits my mood plummets every year. I’ve Invested in a decent SAD lamp this year and going to see if it helps. How important do you find the vitamin D supplementation?
