Hi 😁 so... In the books it's better explained that good deeds are indeed awarded and bad ones get you detention, so, Dumbledore isn't showing favoritism toward Harry or our main characters, he's abiding by the rules, however, I do agree with you that the manner in which he did at the end of the first film was wrong, he should've awarded the points before and not humiliate Slytherin in front of everyone. In this film, the underwater task was finished once the friends were found, the hardship was getting there, so, technically, if Harry would've stuck to taking Ron and going to the surface, he would've indeed finished second, so, while it may look like favoritism, it's just Dumbledore being fair. The tattoo is charmed and it calls Voldy or other Deatheaters when used, it's a beeper 😂 I know you're disappointed Goldilocks is a deatheater, but he was the one that put the diary in Ginny's cauldron in the second movie, and Dobby trying to warn Harry before it happened means it was planned. In the graveyard when their wands connected, Harry's side actually pushed all the way into Voldys wand and those weren't necessarily spirits, I forget what the book called it, but it basically showed the last people killed by that wand, Harry's parents, the old man and Cedric. There's a spell that can do that to any wand, or to at least show the last spell used. The answer to why Voldy is so set on Harry is in the next movie... for the most part, but I'll be here to fill in the holes once you post it Trying to remember if I touched on everything... I'll edit if I remember something else

It's called.. "Priori Incantatem" Effect. Only activated when two wands of the same core taken from the same animal duel each others. In the books dumbledore fully explained it to harry and It was very detailed in the books too . It's also one of very few way you can survive the killing curse.

There are some decent people in Slytherin indeed. But not in this timeline where the books were written. The generations of Slytherin students presented in the books were nothing more then a bauch of racists, brats, classist and dorks. It's not only about malfoy only. Reading the books I can definitely agree why everyone hates them.

Unfortunately in the third movie they don't explain this but in the third book wormtail is Peter Pettigrew, he was one of the four Marauders the four Marauders were James Potter, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, Peter Pettigrew. James was known as prongs serious was known as padfoot Peter Pettigrew which known as wormtail and Remus Lupin Moody

Unfortunately they didn't quite explain this so well in the movie but when the Goblet of Fire was confronted they put Harry's name underneath a fourth School that is how they were able to get his name to come out of the goblet. They made the Goblet thing as though there was a fourth school and Harry was part of it. Mad Eye Moody AKA Barty Crouch Junior at the time when he used the crucio curse on the spider that causes intense pain it's the torture curse. The reason why I was affecting Neville Longbottom so bad was because his parents were tortured with the cruciatus curse. We find out in the fourth book that his parents were tortured to find out where Voldemort went after he was defeated the first time by Harry as a baby. It drove them insane and now they stay at magical Hospital

The reason why Voldemort tried to kill Harry well we can't tell you that yet you find that out in the next movie. When it comes to his mother's saving him as an infant it wasn't just love alone she was given a choice move out of the way and live or stand in front of Harry and die with him, she stayed in front of her son and with the love of seal the protection upon him

As someone who was sorted into Hufflepuff on The Wizarding World website, Cedric Diggory's death hit hard. Especially seeing Amos run onto the quidditch pitch and hearing him shout "That's my son!! That's my boy!!" Also, they got the movie appearance of Voldemort almost identical to the book. There is one missing detail: in the book, Voldemort is described as having blood red eyes with a slit-like pupil. Another fact, the creature that the imposter Mad-Eye Moody was demonstrating The 3 Unforgivable Curses on was an arachnid called a whip scorpion.

So the whole thing with Ron and asking the leflore and acting like he did was because she hit him with her Villa magic so to speak, in the book we find out that she's half Villa and they have a way with men and being able to get them to do whatever they want so to speak so he got hit by it when she was near Cedric Diggory

During the war between Voldemort and Harry, their wands were interlocked. In such a case, the wands will throw out the last spells they cast. The last spell Voldemort cast with his own wand was the spell to kill Harry's parents. That's why Harry saw his family there

From what I gather, there is a spell that shows who the wand zapped to death last. 🪄💀 and our magical man Harry was able to use the spell...even tho he didn't know about it. That whole weird thing with the girls' school when they arrived is much better explained in the book - the girls are not just witches, they are all part Veela [a kind of Slavic nymph who have a strong effect on males - full blooded Veela would instantly have every male in the room fall in love with them, but women who are only part Veela just have strong effect on the males around them - I thought the way they portrayed them was a bit silly but, I guess they couldn't think of anything else]

@@giulsi I'm fairly sure the girls were all part Veela - of course, in the book it was not an all girl school but in the movie they got rid of the male students and at least implied that it was an all girl school, so with that sort of shift, who can say what else might have been changed. Let's put it this way: if all the girls were not part Veela, then the entrance they make in the movie makes no sense at all - but while I have seen the movie more than once, I only read the book when it came out - so 23 years ago - therefore I will admit I may be mistaken and it could be that the movie had planted that idea in my head because of that introduction to the school. It was a bit annoying that they made Beauxbatons into an all girl school and Durmstrang into an all boy school - in the books they were both mixed like Hogwarts.
