This sketch reminds me of when my friends would talk about some Shazam movie that had the actor Sinbad in it that apparently came out when we were young. I'd be like confused. "What you mean Kazaam? Didn't that have that basketball player in it?" And they'd be like "No, it definitely had Sinbad in it." and I'd be like flummoxed as I had no recollection of it whatsoever. The one I saw back then definitely had Shaq in it, not Sinbad. For years I thought this Shazam movie all my friends seem to remember must've been a genre copycat movie put out at the same time as the other one, as is often the case in Hollywood (eg Deep Impact/Armageddon in 1998), and I had somehow not noticed it due to the other one. Needless to say when an article talking about the Mandela effect started doing the rounds some time later, specifically citing the Shazam case, I felt somewhat vindicated. It wasn't me misremembering, it was all of them.

Yeah, this actually an example almost like in the sketch. @@FlatOnHisFace the movies get subitles in many countries. Some countries do voice over where one speaker tells what everyone says. Here in germany we have "Synchronsprecher", voice actors that speak for each actor. it's a completely new audio track with all the original music and sounds, but the original voices replaced by the german voices. So, it was always "Spieglein, Spieglein" for us in the movie, like it was in the fairy tale. "Magischer Spiegel", "magisches Spieglein", "Zauberspiegel" or "Zauberspieglein" would not have fitted.

What a sad state of affairs that the former Fishy Cold Empire has now been reduced to a mere Fishy Cold Place, only a shell of its former glory.

Any historian will tell you that's just the unfortunate inevitability when the Fishy Colders overthrow their Fishinister.

Hey! I just watched the Coroner, and there was one of the Julies, in a far too small role, as a ballerina with a dark secret. I think it must have been Mandala Julie.

Yeah, and now the only question is, did Julie cause the timelines to permanently fuse together, or will this Fishing place buisness resolve itself the moment Fishing place Julie goes back to her own timeline?

you're rude. you're really rude. I remember watching this video earlier with a different punchline in the past. I enjoyed it, but the combination of this video and removing the other... absolute genius. I love it. Julie is using a video on the topic of the Mandela effect to create an instance of it. Now this joke will spread and end up being an actual instance of it.

I absolutely love this. I do get how people could have come up with 'Sweden' given that 'Swedish' exists and so do 'swedes' (a type of turnip aka rutabega), but yeah, it's one of the weirder ones.
