I lived and worked in Rio de Janeiro in 1982 to 1984. I would go out and eat Feijoada. Nows it's 40 years later I'm actually making Feijoada. Nice presentation.

I’ve been living in the us for 63 years and boy I miss feijoada,am able to find it but only canned,my american wife of 53 years tried to make it,dried meat ( carne seca) we cannot find it so I have to resort to canned stuff which is very good

Try using Beef Jerky ! It's expensive but it works.

No, not in FEIJOADA. I think you are mistaking FEIJOADA for MUQUECA, another brazilian classic dish made out of fish and a bunch of other stuff in whitch we use coconut milk. ;D
