Nice, but not a Strat guy....however...I did just purchase a Tele Acoustasonic "Flag" model from Alamo yesterday..so looking forward to it. And you are right, they are super light weight and feel amazing. Fender did really good job on QA for these Acoustasonics regardless of model. And for a hybrid I would say one of the best but not an actual "acoustic" but close enough for a dual purpose guitar. Godin A6 Ultra also a strong competitor in this arena.

I just got mine this week. Love it! Though my model came with a dark ebony fretboard. I was hoping for the figured wood but the ebony looks nice too. The Fender website also says the fretboard is ebony. I guess they made a production change at some point.

I personally don’t like these guitars and I don’t like the sound hole but Cooper can play anything and make it sound great. Some people may love this guitar, but I don’t, and would never spend $2000 on it. Not crazy about the comfort cut either.

Of course need to plug. They are using one eletric guitar amp.

Tele and strato are great but both models have the same problem. They dont have the eletric guitar neck pick up.
