The Welsh hate the Scots a lot more than the English, they endured raids a lot, Britons and Celts were not allies unless they were fighting against the Romans and even then they were quite fractured. Everyone hates the Irish though, because they deserve it.

@@Ferzen I know that the empire was called this way. But that didn't extend to the people. However, you could speak of "imperial troops" if referring to the emperor's own army as opposed to those of any other lord. But then you would call the "French" and "English" armies "royal", too.

Historically that was done for inner German conflicts where the "imperials" were the emperor's troops, like in the 30 years war. But this game only has them fight other realms.

@@Siegbert85 dude it’s a game , there’s inevitably going to be lots of inaccuracies. Besides , equating the “Holy Roman Empire “ is also incorrect , because although the Germans were the dominant ethnicity , there were also northern Italians , Czechs , Dutch , Slovenians , Lorrainers , Provençals etc. That’s super hard to reflect in the game.
