Get ready for a hard lifestyle with lot of ups and downs. But if not now, I suggest you start soon if you're not already training. I personally train in boxing and I love it. I'm not as into MMA but I still like it. I'm thinking about doing one of these 3 on top of my boxing: Muay Thai, Wrestling or BJJ but I'm still unsure

I am indeed going to try that exercise you recommended at the very end; think up ways to counter, pre-counter, and negate all of the different kinds of strikes that are legal in muay thai sparring. This gives me more to focus on during my shadow boxing and bag work outside the gym, and will no doubt assist me during my training inside the muay thai gym.

Funnysnakek21 I’m not fane shazen but I’d say what most people will say, find a sparring partner you trust and just get into the habit of doing it a lot, you should get used to it
@KingAlexGaming_Official5 жыл бұрын
I used to be scared of Sparring. I'm not scared anymore because I sparred frequently and got used to it. Just keep Sparring and if your Sparring partners are hitting too hard tell them to slow the pace a bit there's no shame in that
@cameronh1234565 жыл бұрын
Spar light at first but consistently, then work into normal sparring with a partner you trust! It all gets easier with time and effort. Start light. Or perhaps just do some defensive drills where you have a partner throwing light shots at you to build some defensive confidence. Good luck

This is very study based. It’s important to know your opponents arsenal. I know a fella who doesn’t like kicking and opens all his combos with a lead jab. So I throw a few roundhouses just below the bicep and I pretty much take away his opening attack because he’s sore and he drops his arm. His head is now exposed. If he starts kicking I place my elbow so that the ankle on his kicking foot connects with the point of my elbow. So at this point he’s only able to fight with his right hand and can’t really stand. I thought he would learn by now.

Seriously, in the early days I was wondering if you are a left over hooligan (remember the story with the mouthguards?). Now I feel you are an excellent representant and member ouf our global fighter-community and I often link your videos to friends who ask me stuff. I remember our black belts in their elitism warning us to not listen to youtuber and people outside the school ... over a decade later, the knowledge advantage I have on them is just ridicolus. Let them think that their 360 spinning heel kicks are practical, ima keep aiming for the tighs. haha. Cheers buddy

@GoulouMalouku5 жыл бұрын
Run or if you can't, try not to get surrounded and do everything you can to always be fighting only one dude and ideally make sure he is in between you and the other assailants ( so they can't all hit you at once ) use mostly punches or maybe low kicks and don't go to the ground, hopefully if you're good enough you'll knock out the first and the others will give up, if more than 3 do everything you can to escape.
